Awesome idea for an establishment. Abysmal execution. I don't know if the time or day I went was a bad showing for my first time but I did not enjoy my experience at this establishment.
Food: Ramen was below average for someone who absolutely appreciates the dish. I couldn't, for the life of me, finish the broth and had a hard time eating the noodles as a whole. Toppings or whatever we'd call whats within the soup was decent for sure. The broth killed the dish entirely. To be specific, I ordered the spicy tonkotsu ramen but whatever gave the dish it's spiciness was not what should've been overbearing. I can take spice but the flavor was definitely horrid. Ramen: 2/10
My First Hibachi order was my fault but several of my guests' dishes came back absolutely burnt. The quality of how it's cooked was too sporadic between all five of us. Hibachi: 5/10 due to the inconsistency. It has a 1/10 when you get the short end of the stick or 7/10 when done correctly.
Sushi was worst than store bought sushi. Simply put... Sushi: 4/10
The atmosphere at the location was deceiving. I was ready to eat by all means. The place looked great when entering. Once I decided to use the restroom, my eyes were welcomed by the truth. The restroom was flooding from one of the toilets, dirty, and smelled like it hadn't been cleaned for hours. A staff member walked into the restroom, did their business, spat on the floor and walked out without washing their hands. Atmosphere: 1/10
The service was nonexistent. The other staff knew that our waitress was lazy. They rolled their eyes when they saw that she was nowhere to be seen and our cups (everyones) was empty. We spoke to other staff more times than her. We still tipped out of courtesy. She was nice but lazy. Service: 1/10
All in all, this place should not be open. From what I saw, there is a staffing discrepancy. Wrap it up, do it all...
Read moreFinally got to try this place for the first time! If I wanted to talk about presentation and restaurant style, it would be five stars! But honestly I’m really upset.I arrived about 8:30pm we were starving and excited to try it out! It is now 10:15pm and we have just left.so almost 2 hours and I had not even had a complete bowl and let me make it clear there was no wait, not packed but definitely other customers present. For an all you can eat I barely got to eat anything! My date and I put orders in together! I am more vegetables due to allergies and my pregnancy. He received his bowl before mine, I had no complain because again 1st time we We’re just trying to enjoy ourselves and feel the place out! About 25 minutes go by and I recieve my 1st bowl but when it arrives it was the wrong order not my bowl I created I told them and they had me make another ! I had to wait for another 11 people in front of me before they would make mine so here it is now almost 9:40 pm and I recieve my right order! My server Aggy was great but I told her I was annoyed and wanted to take my leftovers. LEFTOVERS ARE 9.99 a pound which is kind of normal for these days pricey but expected take a look at my pictures of what was left so she weighs my food and says it’s 5.57 $ and I asked would I like it. So I asked her can i get a discount for the excessive wait and error she went to go ask her manager Kevin and he said NO! This makes me regret not flipping out when my order was wrong and came to my table and I could have accidentally ate something that would give me a reaction! Being money hungry will never work out in the long run I’m...
Read moreI was there the first day of their grand opening for lunch. First off let me say this place is a vibe. It is a very nice interior with a clean, vibrant atmosphere. I chose the grill, ramen, and sushi all you can eat option so lunch was around $23 before tax and tip, but with everything you get, it's worth it imo.
I was lucky enough to be one of the earlier people so I got my Mongolian grill food very quickly. They had a lot of guys working the grill and they were very fast. The selection was fantastic. I accidentally overfilled my bowl with all my choices. When you get to your table, you fill out a card and then you go to the grill, leaving the card after you've filled your bowl. When your food is done, the waiter will bring it to you.
The sushi appetizer service was very fast. I ordered from the tablet right after I put in my grill order and it came out about 5 minutes after my noodle bowl was done. I didn't end up getting the ramen since I definitely wouldn't have been able to finish it and with the buffet you can't take leftovers home.
The waiter I had was also very fast and really patient and polite. I forgot his name but he had braces. For being the first day they were opened, all of the waiters add great attitudes and were zipping across the restaurant.
My ONLY complaint was that the hot green tea was super bitter, and I couldn't finish it.
I'm so happy they're finally open and I'll be back (especially for my birthday since you get a free meal if you bring...
