I don't ususally write reviews but here it goes... I've been a coming to this restaurant for three years, even though their costumer service never improves it can most definitely GET WORST. Went there with my family last night ( Thrusday 7.3.15) We were waiting at the table for 20 min before we ask the bar if we could just get drink there and bring them to the table, they told us to wait because someone would be coming to the table. So it is Karaoke night my family and I are trying to have a good night regarless of the poor attention to our table. They make last call for drinks we put in one last round, server forgets one our drinks( whatever no big deal, it was seating at the bar right across from us so he can even say it was the bartender's fault) but when we asked for the check I mention to him that he forgot one of the drinks, he gets mad as if it was our fault and he says in a very rude manner IM GOING TO PAY FOR IT YOU CAN HAVE IT, when we said nothing about taking out of our check. He comes back with the check and a separate receipt AND HOLDS IT UP IN MY FACE and says JUST SO YOU CAN SEE THAT IS NOT ON YOUR CHECK ( may I say I never complained about the check or having it comp off). So to top that off a guys comes to our table and says you guys have two minutes to finifh your drinks, my mom who DOES NOT speak english asked him to repeat him self in spanish WITH A TONE AND BAD ACTITUD, simply rude. We are getting up to leave and the bartender comes back and says we are done it is time to go, and I tell him can't you see we are on our way out? HE SNATCHED A BEER BOTTLE OUT OF MY UNCLES HAND. IN WHAT UNIVERSE IS THAT OKAY TO DO TO ANYONE ??!! Ofcourse he starts arguing with my uncle, and my uncle asks him WHERE ARE HIS MANNERS? Bartender replays ( and may I quote) : " I LEFT THEM IN BED WITH YOUR WIFE." And then runs to hide behind the bar because he knew things were going to get out of control. I still tip them 25% on our check total because I am a server as well, and I have never experience such a nasty behavior from staff that are supposed to all about making costumer enjoy their experience. I just want to start off by saying the manager is highly unprofessional, rude, and doesnt care about any customer and there health. I ordered chicken and steak fajitas yesterday for pick up and when I got home and started to eat I had a piece of what looked like a pebble rock it could of been a hard bone but it looked more like a pebble rock to me so I didn't eat all my food I ended up eating the rest of it today which is a day after and I ended up having a cooked cockaroach in my mouth when I spit it out and seen it was a cockaroach I was highly disgusted and immediately started to throw it up anyways when I called azteca to speak to the manager he asked me why I'm calling him today about it and I said because I didn't eat all my food yesterday then he kept arguing with me about how cockaroaches don't go in food and I'm like well it sure is in my food mixed in with the onions peppers and chicken and steak he kept denying it then I asked him if he likes to eat food with cockaroaches in it and he told me yes he does he does like to eat it and being a smart Aleck so I proceeded to tell him I'm reporting them to the health department and contacting news channel 8 and he told me go ahead and hung up the phone on me. I don't appreciate having bugs in my food that can cause me illness and health issues and mentally I'm not okay. I will never eat here again and I will make sure this goes viral. There is obviously an Infestation in that restaurant and they do not care about...

I had never been here before but always wanted to try it. I can only really speak to what I ordered, which was a taco salad with steak. It came in a tortilla bowl and the cost was $16/$17. I was super disappointed. It was tiny first of all- like tiny tiny. More like a side salad portion, and not something I would pay more than $10 for. I ordered mushrooms and cucumbers on the side as they were incorporated into another salad but not the one I ordered. They brought out the cucumber and mushrooms on an additional side of lettuce which I added to the main salad. I was just about to send it back before they brought out the additional items i ordered (at an extra cost). Even after adding the side plate, it definitely didn’t look like a $17 salad. There was barely any steak on it and it was not nice sliced pieces of steak… it looked like Shriveled up end pieces that they decided to throw on my salad instead of swiping it into the trash bin. I really didn’t enjoy it much. I didn’t want to be rude so I packed it to go, but it wasn’t good, and I probably won’t go back.

My daughter ordered birria tacos and said they were just ok. They definitely were not among the best she’s had, but she said they weren’t particularly awful.

I really had high hopes for this place, but I’m not into wasting my money. Had it been a justifiable portion, and decent slices of steak maybe I’d return, but sadly that was...
