One should be extremely happy that Bob's is in business, and has so many fine points in nearly every aspect of the establishment. Coming from a desolate period of homelessness due to COVID, I can attest to the wonderful workings of this company. I was given a $250 gift card DIRECTLY from Bob's, after 2 years of surviving day to day, substance free. I had finally found a home. I was shown through the warehouse by a wonderful saleswoman, VillMarie. She was kind, courteous, knowledgeable, and most of all, a truly genuine person. She set me up with the perfect bed combo, showing each and every option, better prices, higher quality, etc. We settled on the perfect bedding solution for me with the gift card accompaniment. We did all that together, with her amazing, experienced hand in all of it. I have never given any establishment or person a rating above 9 on Google reviews. VillMarie gets a solid 10 in an unheard of rating scale! perfect! The gift card finally went through after a week, and the cash man and clerical lady got through the details. The delivery date was less than a week from the sale date. Very convenient. One of the biggest glitches I could see from this entire process was the pesky , repeated text msgs about the the same thing: Delivery date and time. I must have gotten 1 or 2 msgs a day. And 2 or 3 on delivery day itself. (today). The truck pulled up a little before the scheduled time, and 2 strong Ecuadorian gentleman brought in and assembled my bed all within 15 mins. These guys were amazing! Kind, Competent, diligent and efficient. Before they left I gave them a review score of 9 out of 10. ( no such thing as perfect score, ofcourse). After everything, I would have to give this whole process of acquiring a bed from Bob's Discount Furniture outlet an overall rating of 8 out of 10.....a rousing review. I ordered a sectional sofa, imagining family gatherings, movie nights, and maybe even a little holiday cheer. Two weeks later, the delivery truck rolled up, and I thought, This is it! But instead of the sectional I ordered, they brought me the wrong piece. Okay, mistakes happen. I get it. We’re all human. But the salesman who placed the order? Let’s just say “attention to detail” wasn’t his strong suit. So, I reordered and waited another week. This time, the sofa showed up—but it was missing its legs. And here’s the kicker—they actually asked if I’d take it without the legs. I mean, come on! A sofa with no legs? That’s not a sofa—it’s just a cushion in distress. Naturally, I said no. They apologized, and promised to deliver the right sofa the following week. Then—wait for it—they called the day before delivery to say it would be delayed another week. By this point, I felt like a character in Cast Away, stranded on an island with no seating and no hope of rescue. Christmas Eve came and went without my sectional. So did New Year’s Eve. My family had to huddle together on mismatched chairs while the living room stood half-empty, a sad reminder of what could have been. Now, here I am, over a month later, still without the furniture I paid for. And honestly? I wouldn’t recommend Bob’s Furniture to anyone unless you’re looking for a lesson in patience or maybe an excuse to practice yoga—because you’ll be spending a lot of time sitting on the floor. In the end, all I wanted was a sofa. What I got was a cautionary tale....

We had Britney at the store and she was great, we choose the couch that we wanted and were told that we were gonna receive a call 3 days before delivery date to schedule a delivery window hours, this did not happened. Our delivery was scheduled Tuesday, Monday we received a message saying that the couch was going to be delivered Tuesday from 11 am till 2 PM. My husband contacted support cause we would be working and none would be home. He was told that delivery could not be changed but they will notify is when they are one stop away. They sent a notification that they are one stop away and less than a minute later we received a call that they were there (the delivery guy did not even speak English so we could not communicate properly). My husband told them he was on his way home and would take 20 mins (He works at Uconn Health and was with a patient that had to be rescheduled because of this) they said they will only wait 15 minutes. My husband rushed and arrived in like 17 minutes none was there. He called support and was given no solution but to try to reschedule and be home in the 3 hours window they provide. What do we do if we both work and cant be home for 3 hours during weekdays?? We did pay 100 USD for delivery and they treated us as if they were doing us a favour! They were extremely rude, did not meet expectations and didn’t even honour their word. We asked for a full refund and needless to say will stay very far...
