One of the top 10 New England beaches. It is also called First Beach and is the largest in Newport, RI. It's 3/4 miles long with plenty of benches and has a boardwalk; the Cliff Walk trail is located nearby. Downtown Newport is also located nearby; it's a walkable city with beautiful vista. Since it's summer, they have the summer concert series and free parking on those nights after 4 pm. However, during the day, there are parking fees. Unfortunately, they're tearing down the carousel and snack bar, I'm sure due to old age. However, there are food trucks, restrooms, and a playground. The rotunda and bathhouse are closed but expected to be open in 2025 due to the demolition of the carousel and snack bar. This beach holds a special place in my heart because that was where I got married. We loved the venue and the vintage carousel. The rotunda was spacious and staff were helpful. The views of the ocean and bay from up there were breathtaking. We had a photo op on the carousel which was fun. Our ceremony took place right on the beach. The day on the beach was beautiful even after a passing rain shower. The only downfall that day was the red tide; it was an infestation of red algae. All in all, this beach is a lovely place with a great memory attached to it for me.

Went here with my family on Sunday July 14th 2024. They do have parking here and it's 15 on the weekdays, and 25 on the weekends. Our vehicle was a truck, and they let us park nearest to the shade almost underneath the building. Like that it is easy to get on the beach once one pays for parking. Oh, and the parking machine doesn't take discover cards, as my dad tried and it didn't take it, luckily he had another card on him. Once that was taken care of easy to get on and off the beach. Like how they have both porter potties and bathrooms at the entrance of the beach. Water was calm, but had very red tide and didn't go in it as much unfortunately because of that. The seagulls were fine, didn't touch nobody's sandwich or anything. People were even bringing food by the nearby snack stand and they weren't even getting those! However, with my encounters with seagulls in the past, it is suggested to pack your sandwich in a plastic bag or aluminum foil, and take small bites to sort of guard the sandwich. Sand is easy to walk on and overall had a pleasant stay.

I have always driven by this beach but never actually stopped to enjoy it so this past Saturday we went for a beach day. The sand is the softess sand I have never felt and I've been to many beaches in my lifetime. We got there for 8:20am and there was maybe 3 cars already parked, you pay by an app for your parking, it was $25 until 9pm. It was a decent length beach, nice view of houses on both sides, the cliff walk starts on one end. I wasn't to happy to see the building that use to be bathrooms was n longer there so there was only port-A-potties to use, however they smelt great inside. There 3 food trucks that also showed up which was nice. The seagulls are a bit brutal just like any other beach I've been to, just keep your food low and to yourself while eating. My only complaint was the sea weed yo could see and it was red, it also made the beach smell really bad. Overall I really liked how once the parking lot was full the beach itself wasn't packed so it wasn't person on top of person like other beaches.

The Easton’s Beach is a beautiful and breathtaking white sand beach in Newport, Rhode Island. I brought myself and my wife for a visit and swim at Easton’s Beach during our honeymoon in Newport, RI in September of 2018. We were both impressed the cleanliness of the beach and enjoyed swimming in the warm and relaxing water. Easton’s Beach provides great views of the ocean and the Cliff Walk, a popular place of interest in Newport. What also makes Easton’s Beach remarkable is its close proximity to facilities, rental cabanas and a seaside snack bar. When visiting Newport Rhode Island, definitely go for a smooth and comfortable swim at Easton’s Beach!!!

Minus the pollutants warning after heavy rains, this beach is great for families. We stayed at an AirBnB (Yellow Door Cottage) just up the block, walked through town each day. Grabbed lunch at Easton Beach Snack Bar, Atlantic Grille, and Tickets. Island Surf Shop is a great place to checkout. Lots of great side streets with beautiful cottages and places for kids to ride bikes and scooters. The cliff walk has great views. Every summer my family checks out a new beach...other than my parents place in Seaside Park NJ. This beach isn't on the top of our list (Ogunquit, ME), but it's a wonderful beach town just outside Newport with plenty of attractions.

Easton's Beach, located on Memorial Boulevard at the start of the Cliff Walk, is a 3/4 mile long surf beach with a board walk. It's not free. Parking fees are in weekdays 10$ and weekends and holidays 20$ per car. They give one parking ticket and we also park in street it's free. The beach was awesome lots of waves. The waves are not very big so kids can enjoy a lot. The beach is very beautiful no rocks no dirtiness no any type of littering we must take a garbage bag because they have not any dustbin. No alcohol and cigarettes and lots of traffic its is little annoying but beautiful beach must go..
