My husband and I always shop at Binny’s and always had nothing to complain about, until this last time that we went to a different location. We stopped by the Skokie store proceeded to buy $130 worth of goods and got double charged! Yes $130 was taken out by Binny’s twice from our bank account, we noticed this when we got to the car. Went back in and the cashier and manager proceeded to say there is nothing they can do that on their end it says they were only paid once. Also said because it says processing on our account doesn’t mean it’s going to go through 😒 . At this point we are infuriated and just wanted to get to the party we were headed to. Next day call since transactions cleared and asked for a refund and was told they would have to do an investigation. So here we are 5 days later and still waiting to get our money back. Binny’s has stole $130 from us. So no I don’t recommend Binny’s at all and now they have lost a...
Read moreThis was my first time at this location before heading so far from home I called the store and spoke with Angelo in the Beer department. I was looking for Forbidden Root Strawberry Basil beer he told me he had (4) 4-packs, I said I'm on my way.
When I got there we talked he educated me on the brand and other locations that have this beer. But then he introduced us to something by the same company Hefeweizen, a twelve and it was very interesting. Both are wheat beers and very tasty some restaurants have it on tap but it's nice to have it in my frig.
If you like beer with flavor I'm sure you will enjoy the Strawberry Basil, but if you don't like the taste of Basil you might want to try it on tap first. I haven't tried the twelve pack but when I do I'll update...

Prices aren't cheap but better than the supermarket chains or smaller liquor stores. Staff is helpful. I have been to multiple locations. More expensive than in nearby states. Costco is well priced at a fixed mark up over their cost if they have what you want, but Costco does not have sales on liquor like Binny's, and Binny's prices are...
