Let me start by saying this is not the first bad experience I have had at this Starbucks.
Walked in a bit ago to order a Americano. Upon walking in, there is NO ONE in line to order - although there were 2 people waiting for their drinks to be made. I walked up to the register and patiently waited for someone to take my order. I waited, and waited, and waited - about 5, 6 minutes as I watched 3 people behind the counter and not so much as a "someone will be right with you". NOTHING!!! Even after they had served both people that were waiting for their drinks - it was as if I wasn't even there! Again, no one in line except myself. What kind of customer service is that?!! And it's the same b.s there regularly. Takes forever to get your drink made even after you order. Needless to say I walked out. And will not ever set foot in there again. I am a pretty regular Starbucks customer and have been to many stores. The experience is always good to great. But this particular Starbucks is brutal! Coming from a former General Manager - whoever manages these employees needs to be get a clue, then pass it on to the other employees!
I normally avoid write overly negative reviews. But this one I just could not let go. Hopefully someone steps up and does due diligence to improve the brutally bad service of this...
Read morehi , i think startbucks on Dempster ave at the yellow line stop (skokie) needs to improve with the following areas :
supplies such half and half, brown sugar and napkins are always empty .every time I stop for a coffee I need to asked the employees to handled me some half and half, they are always giving me attitude specially this skinny tall white guy with a beard and glasses . he needs to understand that customers like me pay his salary.
tables are always dirty , even there is like six employees behind the counter . this people needs to understand a real management and get things done . The problem at this specific facility is the lay back management style as a result lay back employees who are always willing to do the less effort at work.
3 tall white skinny employee with a beard and glasses needs to be more friendly with customer . not a hey!! change that for : hi what can i get for you . thanks . that dude doesn't event know who has in front of him . Next time i get a coffee there i will put a $50.00 bill if he changes his attitude as a bussiness owner I know hot to make people happy and get the best of...
Read moreHonestly, I have been living right around the corner from Starbucks for about six years now and every week since then I have been going to this particular Starbucks location. Every morning at the same time M-F I come through here to get my Venti Frappuchino and the morning staff is absolutely pleasant & friendly! No complaints at all! I love them. But this review gets a 1 star rating for the evening staff. They are really a unpleasant staff, when i go there I feel the uncomfortable vibe of workers who don't want to be working. Mark is the most rudest employee working there, he acted annoyed after I ordered a big order with specifics. If he's going to work the cashier / front position then he should really be more trained on being nice and welcoming to customers and speaking up not talking in a whisper manner to them. The evening staffs demeanor isn't going to stop me from getting my daily second cup of coffee ( I just love coffee too much) but I'd really* appreciate it if this issue could be dealt with...
