Went in today to purchase an item. Clerk and customer weren't wearing face masks, despite the state and village mandate. After the other customer left, before approaching the register, I asked the clerk to please put on a mask. He refused, saying he didn't have to because it was his lunch break. I asked why he was serving customers on his lunch break. He said he could do both. Again, I told him I didn't feel comfortable being close to him when he wasn't wearing as mask and could he please put one on. Again, he refused. I left without purchasing and have filed a complaint with the Skokie Department of Health. I hope they get a hefty fine.
