Picturesque park and trails nestled in Morton Grove, and not too far from the highway. Lots of open grassy areas to play, with both paved and unpacked trails winding through the forest and open prairie. You'll see lots of walkers, hikers, bikers, fishers and even some horseback riders. The paved trail is mostly flat, but the unpaved trails undulate, with a mix of packed dirt, gravel and packed grass. Fairly easily navigable, although it can get muddy in spots. The paved is full of fast bicyclist so walking it with a toddler isn't the safest and my preschooler was afraid of a bike hitting her scooter so we found our way to the unpaved where there were minimal bicyclist and my little ones could run the trail and explore.
I'm happy bicyclist have a beautiful place to ride that also gives walkers and kids a safer option though it's not really stroller or scooter friendly being unpaved.

I returned to my vehicle 20 minutes later to a cop giving me a ticket and stating my vehicle was about to get towed. Apparently the parking lot closes at 6 despite the forest preserve closing at 11pm. Information was not clear as far as the parking...
