Lots of potential here but just a weird place for many years now. I tried a couple things here, facials, laser. Nothing really paid off. The big red flag I noticed right away is that different technicians do noticeably different methods for the same treatment. For example my laser hair removal with one lady would take 20 minutes and with another lady, 40. Or the same facial leaving my face clean and soft, a few months later the same facial with a different lady left my face incredibly sticky and gross. I stopped going. Then over a year later I get an offer to come back and receive a free microderm. I took it and the microderm was nice, nothing wrong with it. However right after, the technician who seems sweet started acting like a car salesman, showing me offers for facials or packages for next time. I know she was just doing her job and this is business. I got lured with a free treatment and ending up agreeing to another facial. Looking back, I should have just walked out after I tipped my lady directly instead of going to the front desk. They are very mean girl type, passive aggressive attitude at the front desk. There is also way too many of them up there at the front desk, like theyre ganging up. I don't want a facial but I know they won't refund me, so im hoping when I go it will be the best facial ever. Then I'm definitely walking straight out and not booking again. I think its weird they made me pay for the facial I didn't even have yet. The owner also speaks negatively of her clients, even if it's in polish. She was on the phone doing that when I walked in. Im fine with venting frustrations but it shouldn't be in front of customers. Update: I had the facial. It was fine. My skin looks and feels soft. The facial was $ 150 and it was right around half an hour. Again it was good but just doesn't feel worth the price. Wishing all the best for this place but I don't plan...
Read moreI was introduced to this place by receiving a gift for a facial. It was more medical than a relaxing spa like but they did a great job. So I decided to sign up for their special promotion “6 X VELASHAPE - 30 MIN“. Had a consultation and they said I needed an hour instead of 30 minutes which jacked up the price big time. Fast-forward to my third to last appointment, I had a young girl work on me that did not have the proper training! She burned me multiple times, forgot products and even the towel left under me when she moved to the other side, could not handle the machine properly so it did not do what it was intended for. I felt uncomfortable to say something to the receptionist since she was standing next to her. So at the next appointment I said something. The receptionist was nice and relayed the information to the manager/owner. I received a text a few days later so I responded that I was open to a conversation and they can call me anytime. I did not receive that call. On my last appointment I saw the manager and had mentioned I had one bad experience. She looked at my chart and brushed it off like it was nothing important. This was an EXPENSIVE procedure and I lost one session over an unexperienced employee! I went home feeling terrible and quickly realized that I was scammed because they took a before photo of me but never an after photo?! Fast forward a few weeks/months I see no difference and if anything it looks worse. I do not want to be contacted now nor will I step foot back...
Read moreI bought a package of three photofacials last summer after one of my girlfriends told me how much it helped her rosacea and freckles and I have been enjoying the results immensely! Agata is incredibly kind with me as I have an extremely low pain tolerance. I have to take two Vicodin an hour before my photofacial and beg for numbing cream on my face prior to the treatment. If your skin is sensitive, I definitely recommend taking painkillers and numbing cream pre photofacial. I’ve loved watching some freckles I’ve had since high school get darker and eventually flake off. Overall I’ve noticed my skin tone is noticeably more even and I have fewer freckles after only two photofacials. Agata also told me the photofacial is helps promote collagen and elastin production. I’ve loved the results so much that my winter skincare routine will always include 3-4 photofacials to help combat the summer sun damage. If you’re on the fence about buying a photofacial package, I’d definitely recommend you go for it. Just remember to plan for painkillers, don’t use any retinol products for two weeks prior and make sure sunscreen and hats are your daily companion after the photofacial to maintain your results. Also ask for Agata because she’s such a...
