Update: I would really love some accessibility updates to this park. We went again in August 2025. This time, we got there at 5:20 for a 6:30 game and there was, yet again, not a single handicap parking space available. I can't take the light rail or ferry over, so that's not an option. We need our family vehicle for me and having to pay for Lot A just to find all designated spots were full more than an hour before the game time was really frustrating. I've been promoted to permanent plates and also noticed a LOT of cars parked in non-spaces, and cars parked in handicap spaces with no hanging tag or license plate. No one was towed or moved when we left (the game was called for rain, so we left early and all those spots with the wrong cars were still there). If you're going to have minimal accessible parking, you should at least be enforcing it for the people with the right tags. Handicap seating is also not great. I had to choose between talking my roller in and having seating accessible to fold it next to me, or sitting with my family in the good seats we paid for behind the home team dug out... Because we were going back for a rained out game, seats were already limited, so I chose to sit with my family and risk a fall. I basically got to my seat and stayed there, hoping I didn't have to use the restroom or have one of my boys help make sure I got up and back down the stairs safely. A group of 5 would either mean they were sitting in the rows in front of me (and I'd still be sitting alone because of the way the handicap seats are oriented above the rows), or we'd be occupying all the accessible seats and we aren't doing that to someone else. I am ambulatory most days, and I can't imagine how someone fully reliant on a wheelchair would be able to enjoy the game with their family here. The regular seats are small, as well. There is absolutely no room for any assistive devices like a rollator or even folding walker. So if you're like me and have some accessibility aides, you're either going to have to suck it up and sit in the accessible seats in limited sections, likely without your group, or be uncomfortable and risk potential falls / injuries. Previous Review: This is the second time I've been to the park in two years and had the same issues. Both times we got to the last light before the park more than 30 minutes before game time. Both times there was no handicap accessible parking. Insult to injury - when I asked the lot attendant about handicap parking, with my hanging tag CLEARLY displayed, he was rude and just asked again for money... which was also clearly in my hand. I asked again after I paid and he rushed us along with a dismissive, "I don't know what's left." For a park this size with games this often, this isn't okay. Having to walk from 2 parking lots away makes enjoying the game after impossible for me; I have the tag...
Read moreBanana Ball at Harbor Park Stadium. This gives you an idea of what the stadium looks like inside. Seats are comfortable for two hours of sitting. Easy to get up and down to let people by. Sections are clearly marked in the stadium for you to find your seats. Easy to get in and out of the stadium in a large crowd. Crowd moved smoothly and fast in and out of the event, funneling through the corridor. The staff did an amazing job with crowd control after the event to line people up for photos and autographs. The lines moved smoothly. The merchandise to purchase was easily accessible in a roped off line. The staff did an amazing job with the amount of food and drinks people ordered, and it was worth what you paid food wise. They didn't skimp on anything just because there was a lot of people to serve. You got plenty of food for what you paid for. The prices weren't obnoxious either. It's what you would expect to pay at a ball game for food and drinks. On a normal day, not a special event day, parking probably isn't an issue. But I suggest showing up super early for a special event if you didn't pay for parking at the arena. ( it wasn't advertised by the event so we had no clue how people prepaid or VIP paid for parking for the event ) but regular parking was gone by the time the gates opened for the special event. Just my opinion from what I observed last night. You can also ride the train in possibly. I saw it coming through last night. Im not sure if it stops at the arena. You could check. Might be worth it, if it's a special event. We plan to look into it next time. Traffic moves smoothly for special events thanks to the police directing traffic for it around town. So even though all lots were full except the courthouse lot that people used, couldn't spot close parking around the city near the stadium, we found a parking garage a little less than a mile away. There was street parking but most signs said 2 hour limit for the toll to pay. The walk is nice around the city to and from the stadium. I hope this...
