If I could give this place a 0, I would. I went through the drive through on 12/10/21, received my food and picked up my daughter from work. I asked her to tell me what was in the bags in case I had to make a trip back due to an error and I did. They told me that it would 7 minutes for tenders and I informed them that I would wait. I asked for mashed potatoes on 2 orders and received fries for all 3 orders. Not a big deal. I went in and the cashier graciously reached behind her and handed me 2 mashed potatoes, which were already made 🚩. I arrived home and noticed I had 1/2 a thigh in my box. My wife said her food was inedible. When I looked at the tenders combos (3 piece and 5 piece), it was solid as a rock HARD, OVERCOOKED. WOULD BREAK YOUR TEETH. The mashed potatoes and biscuits were cold. I called and informed the manager and she assured me that she could make my order over. I asked if I would come the next day and she stated that she wrote my information in the book and I shpuld ask for Ms. TERRY. She stated that I would need to bring the RECEIPT with me and I stated that I would.
Fast forward, 12/11, I arrive to Popeyes and asked for Ms. Terry. The CASHIER stated that Ms Terry was not there. I said, May I speak with a manager and she stated, you're talking to one 🚩(lack of professionalism). I explained the situation as documented above and this "Manager" immediately became defensive. She contacted Ms Terry and Ms Terry contacted the manager that I spoke with on the previous night. Ms Terry (whom I will call Terry from here on out) was just as unprofessional as the cashier who lied and told me she was the manager. They asked me where the food was and I told them it was in the trash where it belonged. I spent $30.34 on food that wasnt worth a penny. They said they will make one tender order but not the other. I told them you messed up both orders and you will replace both. I asked the "Manager" (whom I will call lashes - cause those lashes were LONG) what her name was and she responded in front of all the customers "I dont have a name!" "That's irrelevent!" The cook (short haired old woman) yells from thr back of the kitchen, "What you need to know her name for? You getting your food!" I encouraged her to mind her business ans stay in the back where she belonged.
Im not sure if anyone will read this but throw the entire popeyes away. The building should have been torn down with the McDonalds and Gas station. Training is vital amd professionalism...

This is not a complaint against the service. My cashier was friendly. When we first walked in we noticed water/soda all over the floor near the soda machine. I don't know why they hadn't mopped it up as the floor was very slippery and quite a hazard. We should have turned around and gone elsewhere but my husband and I were really hungry. First mistake. Our cashier was very nice. This is what we ordered:
#3 combo - Spicy chicken sandwich with cheese and bacon, side of fries and a drink Fish sandwich Combo Small mac and cheese.
This cost us about $28. We didn't even wait 5 minutes and our number was called. I was so surprised and happy that I didn't open the bag and check the order. I mean, friendly service, near Scope and many government businesses so you'd thnk everything would be okay. Second mistake.
Through the tunnel we went, I'm all happy about getting to try the spicy chicken with bacon and cheese sandwich, doing a little shimmy dance in the car and my husband is all happy wife-happy life. Get home, hands washed, open bag...where's the mac and cheese?! Oh, man! Well, let me try my sandwich...#@!$ None of the pouches had a sandwich with bacon and cheese. My husband's fish sandwich and his coleslaw correct. I got a regular chicken sandwich with only sauce on it! No mac and cheese, no bacon and cheese. I guess I ddn't need those extra calories, huh? Nearly $30!
We could have driven back, through the tunnel another 2x's, and they probably would have corrected the order but it was going on 9 and we are working people. Not going back was the third mistake. I will never understand how people own busineses and don't know or care how their employees are conducting those businesses. No quality control and obviously poor employee training. Read moreThis has always been the worst Popeyes in Hampton roads so as I walked by, I see a friendly worker going inside and I asked her” Hey how is the flounder sandwich?” she told me everybody buys them. Why don’t you try one out there 2 for 7 dollars. so after I finish my business, I returned to the Popeyes to buy two sandwiches and maybe a side. As I start my order at the counter. An old lady (chewing food ) walks up to the women helping me and stares at me as they take my order. I then ask may I have some Parmesan sauce on my fish sandwich, that is when the taller old lady says “you can’t get that on your sandwich we don’t do that and you have to pay for that sauce and I said well that’s what I asked for so that is what I want and she took over the register told me that she will refuse service. I asked her name and she pointed to her name badge, which was not legible, so I asked her how did she pronounce her name and she refused to give me her name and pointed at her name badge. She was very unprofessional and refused to serve me because I asked for Parmesan sauce on my fish sandwich. This woman is unhinged and does not need to be interrupting respectable service as she is a rude and ignorant manager if that is her position, she needs to be removed immediately she is not good for that business and I see why it’s such a trash location it seemed the other workers were good employees it was just that rude, unprofessional, so-called manager. I hope the GM cleans this place up gets rid of that snaggletooth disrespectful to customers and running...
