Gourmet Gang - Downtown Norfolk — Restaurant in Norfolk

This review is for “debbie” As i was waiting i was sitting at the bar area but before i got to the area there was a man already sitting there waiting for his food same as i was doing. I guess ME sitting there was a problem for her that she needed to tell another crew member to have me move. the reason was people have broken the ankle. Im a little confused on what that has-to do with me. If a area is not safe it needs to be removed maybe add more seats instead of togo paying customers stand for mins at a time on a hungry stomach! Went here for a business trip not too long ago. I asked the cashier what their best wrap was and one of the cooks in the back yelled "the shrimp wrap!" so I ordered that. Fast forward to later that night, I had the worst food poisoning I have ever had. The next few days were most miserable I have ever felt in a while. I'm sincerely hoping that guy didn't suggest that because he was trying to get rid of some old shrimp. My granddaughter and I were down from NY and were fortunate to have selected The Gourmet Gang for a quick lunch. We were so glad we had. I had the Sante Fe Chicken and LOVED it! She loved hers as well. Service was excellent, the staff was genuinely friendly - their smiles were real! For me, the bathroom of any facility carries a lot of weight. Their bathroom was very quaintly appointed, and smelled so good I didn't want to leave!! We can't wait to visit Norfolk again - The Gourmet Gang will be...
