Pandaisia Gourmet — Restaurant in Norfolk

I have visited the pandaisia gourmet twice and have had great experiences each time.

My first time going:

The overall environment feels pretty nice with it having a seating area with like 6-7 tables. They also have a small section that you would see like in any convenience store with storage chests with soda and snacks. The menu is pretty extensive but I would suggest something of the Asian variety. I talked to one of the employees and he gave me a suggestion of what to get which I always appreciate to have restaurants to provides their opinions. I settled with the bulgogi and got beef, lettuce, avacado, cheese, onions, peppers with a sweet and spicy sauce. All ingredients are fresh with great avacados and crisp lettuce. The mvp was the sweet and spicy sauce and smelled great. Portions where alright but is priced fairly.

Second time:

I got the bahm mi with pork and it was fantastic as well. Also it had really good hoagie roles with it being lightly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The pork was just great and glad the employee told me to get it. The sub was like 8 inches and...

Manager needs to be fired... My wife is a frequent customer at your Main Street store, as she works in the building across the street... Today she visited twice... Once in the morning and again at lunch...

Apparently while she was there in the morning, she had taken (2) little cups of half n half from the coffee prep area and placed them in the bag with her breakfast order... Paid for her food and left...

Hours later while getting lunch, the cashier informed her that she was observed on camera taking the creamers, and she must pay for them or she would not be allowed to return...

Firstly, this needed to come from the manager directly... Leaving it for the cashier to deal with was inappropriate... Beyond that, you're turning away a frequent paying customer over a condiment... From now on she will take her business up...

The food here is incredibly delicious, and you can truly taste the freshness and quality in every bite. I’ve tried several sandwiches and dishes, and each one has been fantastic. The atmosphere is cozy, and the service is always top-notch. The staff is friendly, attentive, and they really make you feel welcome. It's easily one of my favorite places to eat in Virginia....
