The good this church does for the community is absolutely amazing they are a great group of people they don’t make you feel anymore humiliated than you already do it does something to your pride and dignity to stand in line waiting for free food because for whatever reason your life took this sharp a turn it’s not easy but to live you must eat your family’s life literally depends on it and you’ll do what it takes and humble yourself a lot of food banks make you feel like a low life bum without knowing someone’s story it’s had me in my vehicle in tears and contaplating suicid this place is nothing like that they welcom you with a smile a kind word and some days that’s all it takes to save a life !! It saved mine

We had our wedding here and the staff (Oretha Pretlow), choir (coordinated by Sammie Logan), and Fr Jim were so gracious and wonderful. Our guests could not stop raving about how much they loved the welcoming environment of the church and how gracious everyone was - not to mention how stunning the church itself is. We are eternally grateful that we had our wedding here and will have this memory forever. My family is South Asian Catholic and being so welcomed in a church that embraces our culture so whole heartedly was amazing. Thank you!

Come for your Sunday obligation and stay for the concert and amazing words of wisdom. I cannot over sell how amazing the music and singing were. They truly bring the holy spirit to life inside you and make you want to let it out. The homily was so incredible and we'll delivered. I will make it a point to deliver more compliments to my neighbor and spread more joy.

Are you looking for a home away from home. Well this church that might be for you. You can feel the spirit and your soul from your head to your toes. So you can cry speak in tongues and even shout out loud amen. But the one thing that I really loved about this church was our leaders the mother of the church and the father of the church just hearing them preached hug you touch your soul is so warming it's like sitting at home in front of a fire with cozy slipper is in a cup of warm hot chocolate. I've only been here three times and I'm ready to call this my church home. My kids love it my husband loves it and who am I to complain Jesus loves it. The music makes you want to jump out of your seat like you're at a party like you're at MP Ultra Lounge but it's a Christian sorry is a Catholic sanctuary outside of that it can be your Sanctuary too. So are you looking for a church home? Are you tired of going to sleep at church every Sunday.? Are you tired of your children getting bored and Sunday classes that they don't want to pay attention to? Well my answers to this was yes it's so I chose to pick up my children from the last surgery went to and move on to this beautiful wonderful home that we can praise and worship and spend time together as one family so that's what you're looking for come on down doors are...

I am further editing my review after a guest came to church last Sunday- Father Tim. For the first time in 2 years, the words of the homily resonated with me. His message was driven by the Holy Spirit, not politics or race. It was clear, loving and thoughtful. I realized that I am attending church weekly at the Basilica for the music alone. I will miss the people, especially Deacon Bailey, however it is time to seek God elsewhere.

The church has become very political over the last year. Making people who have chosen to no longer wear masks feel guilty. Making people who choose not to love Kyle Rittenhouse out to be sinners. Further increasing racial tensions between the black and white communities, claiming that all white people are guilty of racism. This isn't a political platform, its church. The congregation is older, not really suited for children under 10. The choir is STUNNING. Same with the inside of the church. The church offers a lot of...
