Five Saints Distilling — Attraction in Norristown

My employer recently held a training event at Five Saints Distilling in Norristown, PA. Joan (the venue's Event Manager) assisted me since I was tasked with coordinating the event. Joan, the owners (John & Amy) and their staff, all made the process super easy. The venue was perfect for our event and everything went as planned. Food was delivered by Rocco's Brick Oven Pizzeria and beverages were available through Five Saints Distilling. Both were outstanding! During our event we learned the interesting history behind Five Saints Distilling and how it came to settle in the old Humane Fire Department building. After our event ended we were treated to a tour of the nostalgic venue which was like stepping back in time - it was awesome! Five Saints is simply fantastic! I am so happy I stumbled across this distillery. A family owned local business that makes some of the best spirits. Truly top shelf. The options range from the traditional whiskey and gin to some unique offerings such as the “Humane No. 1”. The combination of maple and butter pecan gives this rum such a unique taste. I love having it around in the cold months but especially during the holidays. It makes for a great cocktail base.

My top favorite is their traditional whiskey. It is smooth, full bodied and 100 proof! Whiskeys of this caliber do not carry a high alcohol content or cannot be consumed straight, instead tend to be very rough. I was so surprised to find the “Rare Pennsylvania Whiskey” is just perfectly balanced. It checks all the boxes for me and I consume it regularly. I held my husbands 40th birthday party on their newly opened 2nd floor bar/pub space. Everything was amazing! The space is beautiful, filled with history, and was so comfortable. From the service to the ambience, the setting and the spirits were top notch. My husband, family, and friends were blown away by location. This is Norristown’s not so secret gem 💎. Joan the event coordinator bent over backwards for us and treats you like family. The bartenders and owners could not have been more accommodating and hospitable. We had the best time and felt like VIPs at our own private club. The space was intimate but also large enough for our party of 50. Everything was wonderful and Five Saints blew us away.
