We had a great experience bridesmaids dress shopping with Kelly! We were bit of a chaotic group of nine, and she was able to keep us all on track and help us pull dresses we were looking for. She made the appointment fun and also productive. Would definitely recommend!
Edit: I really hate leaving bad reviews, but after my experience at this store, I would not recommend purchasing your bridesmaids dresses here, never mind your wedding gown.
Our original appointment was great, as stated in my previous review. However, my maid of honor called to order her dress a few weeks later, and received some really poor customer service. At the appointment, our consultant took everyone’s measurements, had their preferred dresses written down, and had me sign up for the diamond rewards to earn points when they purchase their dresses. Some of my bridesmaids were undecided, so considering the fact that the store had all their information, we assumed they would just need to call to put in their order. When my maid of honor called to order her dress, the person on the phone said that they didn’t know how to do that and that the other workers were busy, and asked if she could call back later. This seemed strange, but we gave her the benefit of the doubt and maybe she was newer or something. When she called back, the worker had to ask her manager to come over, and once the manager was on the phone, she told my maid of honor that they had lost all of our information, and that it “probably just got thrown out”, as if this is something that happens often. They couldn’t even find our appointment history, so it was essentially just a huge waste of time for all of us. She then was trying to figure out what dress my maid of honor wanted to order, but we had no idea what the dress number was, and was guessing her size, but I didn’t want her to end up ordering the wrong dress in the wrong size just to have her spend a fortune in alterations. We ended up going elsewhere for the dresses.
I’d like to say that I don’t think this was the consultant’s fault, she seemed on top of everything and like I said, we were a chaotic group, so I can understand if things get disorganized. However, this seemed like something that happens often and the store itself feels disorganized. I feel sorry for the staff if they are not getting the support they need from corporate, it seems like there is a major lack in training and it’s hard to run a business when the staff is being set up to fail. Read moreWhat started out to be one of the most stressful situations we have ever been through turned into one of the most joyous days thanks to the AMAZING staff and management at the South Attleboro David’s Bridal! With my daughters wedding in 2 months and the dress we ordered back in June not being what we had expected (my daughter lives in South Carolina and when I picked up her dress we just hung it in her room here and opened it today when she arrived for her bridal shower.). Her fitting was this afternoon and she tried on the dress at 10 am at home. The dress was not going to work for her. On our frantic drive to the store we called and my crying daughter spoke to Kat. She was very understanding and worked to calm us down. When we arrived she told us not to worry she was going to help us and it would all work out and she was right. Our stylist, Soraya, had about 5 or more other people she was helping and she just calmly helped us all! She was running around getting dresses for Everyone with a beautiful smile, up beat attitude and complimenting people appropriately and giving excellent advise to all of us! I was shocked when I found out that she has only been working there for 2 months! She was extremely professional and although she was so busy that I don’t think she stopped for even a second and she never got flustered or seemed to be overwhelmed! They have a true treasure in Soraya!! The store managers Kristin and Kelly were also amazing! From helping us with the dress we purchased in June to helping pick out jewelry! Unfortunately I have to revoke my positive review of this location. As previously stated I was on a time crunch and needed a dress quickly, I was assured my dress could be ordered in time and would arrive the 24th. Come the Friday the 19th they had not sent me any shipping information or any order number. I called the store they advised me to call back on Monday because it still looked like it would arrive on time. Fine sure it’s only my WEDDING DRESS I’ll wait. Perhaps I was being a Bridzilla and called too soon. I called Monday around 11- Alicia advised me that she would call and see what was going on. Waited hours for no call back. Tried customer service myself no answer or call back. Tried to text- no answer. Call the store back after leaving work at 5 pm - only to be told that my dress is suddenly back ordered and the only thing they could do is get a SAMPLE dress from another store. I said okay will you cover dry cleaning given I was promised a new dress and paid for a new dress. Nope can’t do that. Store doesn’t do that. The only thing we can do if it’s not to your liking is a full refund or 10% off but we don’t cover the cost of dry cleaning. So that’s what I’m left with- accept a dress that I now need to get professionally cleaned because who knows how many people have tried it on before me or be out a dress 10 days before my wedding.
