Wish I could give the customer service 10 stars! My husband and I walked into the Attleboro location on Friday 2/22/19, planning on not buying a mattress, or anything, until at least 24hours after we had done our in-store and online research. This is my general large purchase/ long term commitment policy due to my lack of trust and general distaste for the entire sales community. I have also mastered a "not approachable" persona when entering a sales establishment and this day was no different. Now that you have a background picture of my unusual shopping tactics, lets get to this review. This was my first time buying a brand new mattress and my first time visiting this business. Needless to say walking in, I was mildly intimated by the options. Mattress Firm's color coded system takes the guess work out of mattress shopping and certainly saved us time! We were warmly and sincerely welcomed by Stephen Bengtson. Steve instantly made me feel comfortable and valued with his eye contact and hand shake (as a female, I am frequently first to extend my hand and appreciate when the host initiates the exchange). Mr. Bengtson was knowledgeable about his products and made sure we were able to make an informed and confident decision, that was right for our needs. He took care to listen to our mattress hopes and dreams and made suggestions that would help us overcome some sleeping issues we had had due to medical complications. I never felt undermined, bullied, or manipulated while Steve worked with us to find the perfect mattress. My husband and I purchased a mattress, frame, and protector from Steve, that afternoon. On my way home from the store, instead of second guessing our expensive purchase and wondering if I had been maneuvered to meet a salesman's quota, I was elated in the anticipation of receiving our new mattress and finally get a great night's sleep. The bed was delivered today by a gentleman named Thomas who was on time and got the whole job done in a fast, friendly, and clean fashion. Mattress Firm Attleboro is by far the best place to select and purchase your new mattress! The customer service provided by Meghan is exceptional! We called first and enjoyed a very pleasant phone conversation with Meghan. The vast depth of her product knowledge was very evident to us from the start. After speaking with Meghan on the phone, we were inspired to visit Mattress Firm Attleboro in person. When we arrived, Meghan appeared to be busy with another customer. So, after a few minutes, we stepped out on the sidewalk and decided we would leave to visit another mattress store nearby. We intended to eventually come back to Mattress Firm later in the day. As we were discussing this plan, Meghan opened the front door of the store and greeted us kindly with a smile! She let us know she had just finished assisting the other customer and welcomed us to come back inside and try out the floor model mattresses. We were so thankful for Meghan's attentiveness and welcoming spirit. Before we ever began to try out the mattresses, we already felt comfortable and positive about our experience because of Meghan. Meghan is a true professional! She highly respects and values her customers and her friendly, knowledgeable, no-pressure style is a breath of fresh air. The store is spacious and well organized, though as always the showroom is mostly filled with higher-end mattresses (the more affordable options are available only online). On the one hand, it makes sense since budget mattresses are often very similar, but on the other hand, a showroom full of $3,000–$10,000 mattresses feels a bit questionable for the average shopper.

That said, our sales associate Todd was excellent. He was polite, friendly, and incredibly helpful in guiding us toward a mattress from the more affordable category. We plan to purchase a high-end Tempur-Pedic in the future once we have more financial flexibility, but for now the mattress we bought will serve as a placeholder and later become a guest bed. Todd showed remarkable flexibility in finding exactly what we needed—after the one we initially chose wasn’t available, he managed to track down a very similar option at a reasonable price. He also helped us take advantage of a website promotion to get a basic adjustable base, and the whole process ended up being one of the fastest transactions I’ve ever had (less than 15 minutes).

Overall, Todd is a fantastic associate and left us with a very positive impression. It would be great if the store offered more entry-level mattresses on display for customers who are looking for a temporary solution before investing in a premium model. Todd,...
