NJ Leaf North Brunswick — Attraction in North Brunswick Township

Hands-down, the best dispensary in the area. And I don’t say that lightly! My bud tenders, Ryan and Bela, took the time to find the best product for my needs. They are very knowledgeable and hilariously friendly and treated me like a real person not just a customer to upsell to.

Parking is convenient, selection of product is wide. They carry many brands, some brands I have never even seen in most dispensaries and the best part is there’s no sales pressure like other dispensaries. They take the time to curate to your needs down to the security guard opening the door for me, Sean, who is also an awesome person. The best part of my experience was the atmosphere and that’s because they aren’t positioning themselves or brand to have the atmosphere of an Apple Store that sells weed like every other dispensary in the area. It’s a relaxed environment that’s inviting with the most friendly staff. I can’t say enough positive words about this business!!

Compared to every New Brunswick dispensary that I have frequented whose bud tenders don’t offer the personalized experience garden State botanical does, they will be my go to dispensary...

Great store, great and friendly staff, only leaving 3 stars due to some confusion about the points policy… I made a purchase the first time I came in, the second time they informed me I had $3 in credit or could save for next time so I chose to save for next time… and then when I came in the next time expecting to have some money on credit, they told me they didn’t have me signed up for anything when I distinctly recalled signing up the first time I came in (giving them my phone #) and they told me how much credit I had last time… I’d also been receiving texts after everytime I bought so I know they had my phone number… no clue what went wrong there but it was a disappointment. it would make sense to have customers be signed up for rewards immediately once you take their phone number the first time to prevent discrepancies.

Original review (Garden State Botanicals) I cannot in good conscience recommend this place. They have low quality minimal choice in the rec and med side and the staff have no personality. They're not rude but they're also not friendly. It's like walking in to the DMV. Take a few minutes and go over to Silverleaf in Somerset. They have a good selection on the rec side and always have great sales. Plus the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. I live right across the street from Garden State and was hopping this would be my new go to. Definitely not. They have a lot of work to do. There's other places...
