Update: I can't even afford to shop here anymore... so them replying to reviews saying "we raised the prices to compete and keep giving our workers jobs" is honestly a joke. Because I will spend way less money there now than I use to. The only way this place even stays in business is by having CHEAP affordable clothing. I went back today and confirmed I'll never go back... Prices STILL more expensive than Walmarts retail prices. Found a $3 candle marked at $4 🙄🙄 and now I guess they aren't even doing half off days anymore. Not worth it at all
Disappointing. I used to shop here way more often than I should have. And they took away points I had saved up because of some "new program" that apparently deleted my $5 off... but Today I ended up walking out because the pricing is just so outrageous... If I wanted to pay full price for something I'd rather buy it brand new... but even brand new some of these prices were ridiculous... & here at this goodwill you can buy old things for nearly 3x the original price... 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ They even ignore the blatant yellow tags Walmart used to mark it down... I found a shirt marked $3 that they were trying to sell for $8 smh. Guess I won't be stopping here anymore unfortunately. - I'd recommend driving out to Heartville thrift. They're the only reasonable thrift shop left...
Read moreHow long is an acceptable amount of time to wait in line to purchase items? I decided to give this Goodwill ANOTHER try with the hope that they have become more aware of their customer service. Unfortunately, that has been anything but the case! This time I waited for 10 minutes without moving a single person in line before I gave up and left without purchasing anything in my cart. I figured after looking at the person in front of me with a cart full of items - I'd be there 35-40 minutes before I'd get to check out. NO EXAGGERATION! Yet again, only one of many registers was open. They were using it to train a new employee who was only able to work at snail's pace. There was a woman who appeared to be a manager of some sort standing behind the trainee making sure he was doing things correctly. The "manager" did repeatedly looked over at us waiting in line - but failed to do anything to expedite check out for us. I understand the need to train new employees. That being said - be respectful and appreciative of your customers during that process and have a second register open. I visit Goodwill's all over the state of Ohio during my travels. This is the ONLY Goodwill for which I have written negative reviews. (Prices on glassware at this Goodwill location are significantly higher than others...
Read moreThis Goodwill is the most expensive one that I have visited in different states, the prices on many of the furniture especially if these are new, they are the same as a new furniture store, the attraction of going to Goodwill is that you can find a treasure at a very good price because it is a non-profit store, that's why I give it 3 stars, in what refers to other things some if they are expensive but you can also find good prices too, it is a very clean store and organized, the way of exhibiting the clothes is very attractive because it is by colors and sizes, the current employees are very kind, I appreciate that they moved the previous employees who had a very ugly way of attending, you can not find things for teenagers and there is no a lot for...
