Calm and shallow beach with a big, beautiful park and playground, this is a great family beach. I usually wouldn’t swim in any beaches on the the bay, but this one is far enough down that it seems pollution is not an issue as plenty of people were in the water. There is a small concession stand, as well as a Del’s truck that is occasionally stationed there, although it seems hours for both are inconsistent. I play in an orchestra concert here every summer, it makes for a great venue as long as the weather cooperates. Really picturesque setting and has a nice bandshell to reverberate sound and (somewhat) shield the wind. I am very thankful I’ve had the opportunity to play music at this beach, it is a really beautiful place that I most likely never would have known...

This place is perfect for all ages!! They have picnic tables on the grass area, playground few bathrooms , have a running water if you need to wash off the sand off your feet. There is food truck there and their food is pretty good and service is fast. They do have live music and events going on most of the night of the week. They have life guards from 9 to 5 . People can come in but parking is only aloud for NK residents and they have to get stickers from the town hall. However, after 5 o'clock anyone can come in. Most of the summer nights that time is perfect. This year I watch their fire works for the independence day celebration and it was spectacular. Leaving from that event was not ...

Obsessed with this beach! I recently moved to this area of RI with a 2 and 4 year old and happened to stumble upon this place - so happy I did! It’s small but not tiny, not overwhelming like the big beaches. We got a sticker and haven’t had any parking issues even during peak times. The water is clean, the beach isn’t rocky, there’s food, there are bathrooms - the playground makes this beach an 11/10. Locals are so friendly (I grew up on the beach in MA where the vibe wasn’t quite so welcoming lol). If I weren’t a parent I may feel differently about this place 😂 but if you have young kids I would...

What a lovely beach! Considering many beaches nearby charge to enter the beach and/or charge to park this one is no less beautiful. As we were staying in Wickford village we walked and so there was no fee. Otherwise a pass is needed from the Town Hall to park. There are toilets available and some small food trucks. These probably change but when we were there there was a frozen lemonade and sausage vendor. As well as the beach there is a large grass area so lots of space and some picnic benches. There are steps leading down on to the beach so maybe not fully accessible to all.
