Argenta Contemporary Theatre — Attraction in North Little Rock

Gypsy is the second musical that I have seen at Argenta Contemporary Theatre. The one thing that I can say, is that I need to go more. Each time, I have left so happy and thinking I need to come back soon. I had seen a previous live performance of Gypsy years ago in Fort Worth and my expectations were high, but they were met. The cast was so talented, the sets were perfect for the theater and the seats are comfortable. Neat little theater. Saw A Christmas Carol. Excellent little production however the staff for the show were not very accommodating. I found out after paying that there was a military discount. I asked the ladys who collected payment for tickets if I could get refund for the difference and they explained they didnt have any cash and looked at me as if I was begging for money and inconveniencing them. (I paid with a card). I then asked a manager there and she explained they could have made change and she obtained my refund.

We attended the Destination Downtown conference here in September 2022. The theater is a great venue with up to 200 seats in the main area, more space in the balcony. The stage is step-up from the center so I can see many events taking advantage of this space. Spacious lobby area with room for 8 vendors. The whole Argenta Main Street area is becoming delightful. Walk easily to the Library, places to eat, other venues, retail shops. On the streetcar/trolley route. Ample parking...
