Argenta Plaza — Attraction in North Little Rock

This is a very peaceful little area of downtown in the morning if you don't mind a tad bit of traffic. It's a great place to be as the sun rises and sets, not for photos (because of the big new buildings), but to enjoy the arrival of the new day. They've added some tables and chairs which is perfect with the outdoor dining district right up the street, for those who love the did and outdoors, but not the crowd.

The small little garden areas could be bigger and more lush, but I believe part of the intent for this area was for outdoor concerts as well, so that is being taken into consideration. There's also WiFi, and 3 large bench swings!!! It's a great stop if you're on a morning exercise routine, or just need a moment out...

Not a bad place that would be nice for gatherings, rallies, walking, aerobics or other types of exercise, or other events. There's a decent amount of space in the main gathering area of the square for perhaps a few hundred people or so. A few restaurants are also in the general square area and the trolley rolls through the square to and from the downtown Little Rock side on a regular schedule. This place is really awesome. The splash pad is fun, and stays on until 9:00 (most splash pads close at 8:00 around here). Plus it has a fun waterfall arch thing. But the most magical part is at dark, the lights come on. There is a red, green, and blue light that make playing with your colorful shadows fun. And definitely a good way to teach children about mixing colors! You have to see it...
