First of all, let me start with how disappointed I was with the RUDE service I recieved in several areas. Security was not what you would call "Assertive", 5 individuals were down right rude and pompous. Specifically I had an officer without uniform inform me that she was "an officer" simply because I had an alcohol band on my hand, and she "ASSUMED" I was trying to purchase beer after the cut off time. I was not rude or disrespectful at any time. Then, my teenage daughter and her boyfriend were purchasing souvenirs and I was waiting outside. When my teens took longer than I expected, I tried to go back inside to hurry them, I was stopped by at least three more security guards ALL AT ONCE very loudly exclaiming "NO RE-ENTRY". I still wasn't allowed to enter even after I explained. The concession worker at one area didn't know how to take an order with multiple items, and did not know how to count the change back. She actually asked the teens what the correct change should be. So either, she was attempting to give the wrong change on purpose, or couldn't use a calculator. I ordered a margarita, and halfway into a very large frozen drink I realized they charged me $16 for a virgin margarita. We also purchased what we were told were chocolate covered peanuts, and they ended up being chocolate covered pecans. I'm allergic to pecans... thankfully my husband tried them before me. Furthermore, they were so bad, we literally threw the entire bag away. Let's end this with our ticket purchase. We decided on 4th row center after looking at the description on the website. Once seated, we realize there would be a LARGE vip stage RIGHT IN FRONT OF US blocking most of our view to where we basically could only watch the screen, after getting what we're supposed to be pretty good seats...
FIX YOUR GAME. PLEASE. Teach your employees manners and common courtesy for starters. This was the worst experience at an event arena...
Read moreMy Husand, 2 friends, and myself went to see Slipknot and In this Moment a week ago. The concert was AMAZING by the way. The arena itself is set up nicely and just about anywhere you sit you will have a decent view of everything. The two opening bands had a lot of smoke from their smoke machines it made it a little difficult to see them. But let me talk about the prices. I know at a concert things are marked up so High it is so ridiculous. Even by the time we got to check out for $75 dollar tickets and all the service fees were added we were at $99 dollars for each ticket. Some of that is the ticket selling platform though. My husband and his friends bought beers which ran 10 dollars for tap and 8 for can. I got a CUP of water that they put no ice in and it came up to 7 dollars. If I had known I would be paying the same price for a cup of iceless water as I would for a bottle of Dasani I would have gotten the bottle which is easier to keep up with. Someone explain to me why a cup of tap water cost that much? Do the ticket prices and the amount of people buying beers not pay their water bill? When I paid for it I thought it was my husband's beer I was paying for. I'm no beer drinker but It would have been a better deal to buy a beer instead. Enough about that let's point out some positives. As I mentioned the arena is set up nicely, restrooms are easily accessible and have several stalls, and plenty of parking but expect to pay no less than $20. Overall we had a good time but next time I will...
Read moreThe location was great right off of the river and close to the interstate. We stayed across the river at the Marriott only a 10 min walk. The issue I has with the Arena was we paid $700 for our tickets to Elton John which was a great concert. Our issues we had was with the staff that was helping with finding your seats. They didn’t seem to help anyone with their section location or row number. They need to take the time and put some signs up showing sections when you are walking up and think about painting the isle location on the steps to make it easy to find. My biggest complaint has to be how much we spent on our tickets for the view we got. We had a rail right in the way of us seeing Elton and people would stand right in the walk way lost with no help. Luckily about 20 minutes into the concert we just moved onto empty seats with no rail blocking our view. I wish that they would disclose that specific seats might not have direct sight or do like most places and have actual views from your seat before buying. In all the security and concession lines went fast with no issues. We will be back again but will make sure to double check out seats. Bonus tip you don’t need to drive over to the arena if you stay at one of the hotels across the river. The walking bridge is open up to 2 hours after your event ends. Makes it a nice walk and save on traffic time and...
