JDS Family Farm LLC — Attraction in North Londonderry Township

Let me start by saying that there is not much this family doesn’t put their whole heart into. When they decided to add raising black angus to their resume, I was genuinely excited. My grandfather raised black angus in the 60s and we tend to pride ourselves on Knowing A Good Cut of Beef. So when Joel mentioned they’d started selling meat, you better believe I was in line for a slice. And let me tell you— this is some of the best beef I’ve ever eaten. The attention to detail is throughout the entire process here at JDS Farms, from raising the cattle (they’re happy cows!) to making sure their products are of the highest quality. We’re spoiled by Joel and his love for his cows, and I’m entirely serious when I say that I will literally only be cooking steaks from JDS from now on— in fact, my dad (who grew up on that angus farm I mentioned earlier) snagged a few bites of the Delmonico we got and said it was the best steak he’d ever had. Needless to say, all of our special occasions will be marked with JDS Farms products, and you’d be hard pressed to find another steak in our fridge and freezers.
