Dairy Queen Palmyra — Restaurant in North Londonderry Township

We usually like coming to this dairy queen and have had great service. Just went through the drive through, which we don't normally do. Ordered four blizzards and a cup of chocolate ice cream. Our blizzards were basically thrown in the holder (they were lopsided) with the cup of plain ice cream piled on top and sitting in one of the blizzards. No lids, no napkins. Only one of our bilzzards was flipped because the rest would have dripped ice cream from being pretty melted. Luckily we were all in the car and I was not bringing this order home. I immediately went inside because the cup of ice cream was such a mess it could not be held. The blizzard cups all were messy as well but napkins were sufficient. When I explained what happened to express my disappointment, I was met with an employee who seemed annoyed and rude and didn't really care. All I wanted was a new cup because the one we had was sticky and some napkins. It was not busy and hardly anyone was inside so I am not sure why our order was such a mess. I obtained extreme food poisoning from the Chili Cheese Dog, which was only $2.49 USD. Later that night, as I sat upon my throne, I was grappling with an extreme case of explosive diarrhea. As my family went about their various home life activities, I was succumbed to the isolated abyss that is my guest bathroom. My stomach churning like the waves upon the great sea. The sounds, oh the sounds, which were projected from my rectum were terribly loud and mighty like the roar of a lion on the prowl for its next prey. Except this time, I was the prey. Update: Decided to give this another shot and seemed to go at the perfect time. There was only one car in the drive thru, the people were super nice and wearing their masks properly, and the ice cream was delicious (wife says the snickerdoodle blizzard could have been lighter on the cinnamon...there were solid chunks of it). Shortly after we ordered the line got 6+ cars long, similar to the last time we tried coming here. Perhaps try going before 7pm to avoid the weekday lines or only come here when you are in a patient mood. Overall much happier with this experience v.s. the last time. Glad we came back!
