BEWARE THIS STORE. THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE ELDERLY.
My elderly parents went into this store last July/August 2024 to add my father to the family plan. Whoever they dealt with added my father to our family plan, but also added another 'ghost phone line' to their family plan that did not belong to anyone or have a physical phone associated with the phone number. This ghost phone line had the most expensive wireless plan and the most expensive insurance plan, costing $90.31/month. On top of that, they signed up my father's phone line for additional insurance $14/month. None of these options are what were already on the family plan, the family plan did not have insurance and did not have the most expensive wireless plan. My elderly parents knew their bill was going to go up due to adding another person so they did not catch the fact that a whole separate phone line was added to their plan that did not belong to anyone. The extra cost comes out to: $90.31 + $14.00 = $104.31/month times 9 months, which is $938.79.
My elderly parents were cheated out of $938.79 they did not intentionally sign up for. In March 2025 and April 2025 they visited this local AT&T store and asked for help resolving the issue. NOBODY could help them at the store after several visits, not even with removing the ghost phone line.
I personally had to spend several hours on the phone with AT&T to resolve this issue on their behalf. AT&T was able to remove the ghost phone line, but they could not reimburse for the full cost, only ~$100. My elderly parents were scammed out of $838.79 due to this store.
UPDATE: August 5th, 2025 - In case anyone was wondering - the owner responded to this review below and said to send them contact info so they can reach out. I sent contact info on May 19th, 2025 to the email address they specified. Nobody has reached out to me. Their response to this review was a hollow reply to make it seem...
Read moreWent to this store to upgrade a device- ended up switching to FirstNet, was told about the savings and seemed like a no brainer. Boy was I wrong!
I was told invalid information on upgrading another line on my plan, a random line was added to my account with no devices attached to it in my possession. I was also sold an Apple Watch, and iPad- the watch was supposed to be free for switching to first net, and the iPad was supposed to be 50%off. After my shocking firstnet bill of almost 600$ I started digging into my bill, and speaking with customer service to end up finding out that the line was added and obviously had no use because i had no idea it exist, the watch and iPad promotions are not available in PA, and that I was only getting 1/2 of what THE STORE MANAGER said was trade in value of my 2nd upgrade device. Iâm still currently working with AT&T/FirstNet to resolve the issue, will most likely leave AT&T- what a horrible experience! Who would have thought a simple phone upgrade would go south so fast.
The only person in that store who was able to help me or guide me in the direction to get some answers was Q. He should probably be the store manager since the current one doesnât seem to actually care about the job, customers, or...
