Sal's Furniture Co. — Attraction in North Providence

My husband an I spent quite a bit of time looking for living room furniture - couch, chairs, tables. We went to all the bigger stores...Cardis, Raymour, Jordan’s, etc. We knew we were leaning towards Rowe so we looked at their website and they had Sal’s listed. We never heard of them but figured we would give it a shot. What a GREAT store! We worked with Greg who helped us for many hours over numerous days to pick the perfect set for us. He knew we were having a hard time making choices so he had us bring pictures and swatches from our house to aid in selecting the perfect furniture for us. He was extremely patient helping us pick out wood colors and fabric patterns. He also offered to come by the house, if we needed, to give us suggestions.

Greg knew we had a bad experience with delivery form another store. He generously offered to come with the delivery guys if we wanted him to. We did not take him up on it, which was ok because his delivery guys were great. The were very professional, took their time, cleaned up everything, and even asked us if it would be ok with us for them to change out the plastic tabs in the furniture feet with felt ones as they felt they would be a better choice with our hardwood floors.

We can not recommend Sal’s Furniture enough. If your shopping for furniture, give them a shot. You will get fabulous service, with no pressure....and buying from a local business at...

We bought our first bedroom set here after we were married, and have been going back ever since. It's nice to see a family run business that takes the time to know each customer's needs and provide them with the right solution. Greg asks about the rooms that will be housing the furniture, offers advice on the best fits, and asks the questions that you might have forgotten to ask. The recommendations and not geared towards maximizing the sale, but on maximizing the value received for the purchase. And whether is it 5 days, or 5 years, after the sale, Greg is still there to assist if follow up is required. If you want good quality and excellent value from a store that is part of the community, you should definitely check out...

Couple of weeks ago, I went to check out furnitures at this store. This is the first and last time I went to the store. I took my time to look around. I never saw sales associate until I went thro the other side of the store. The only sale associate that was there didn't acknowledge my presence nor said to me "please give me a moment while I finish up with this customers." As a business owner like myself as I was taught and trained other employees to always say hi to any client no matter what and acknowledge their presence even with a smile. Just kept looking around until I slowly walked out. The sale associate saw me leave. Didn't want my business and thankfully wouldn't want to give them...
