Upsides: This place is pretty large, and it was really clean. I bought a couple of funny bathroom signs from the farmhouse booth in the back last week, and lots of laughs happened already with visitors! I absolutely loved looking at the signs in that booth. Clean, visually appealing, with a lot of options. Absolutely lovely.
The coffee was great at the Cafe as well. We didn't have any of the food, but definately try the coffee!
The chocolate booth up front was really pretty and well put together! The popcorn was pretty good (not the best I've ever had, but still pretty good and worth the price!). I loved how easy it was to see her items to find someone we wanted!
They have carts, which is great!
There is, overall, a LOT to look at and it's a great way to get your steps in.
Downfall:
Prices on the "antique" items were absolutely crazy.
Example: There is a tall Michael Jordan cutout that someone is trying to sell for $10,000!!!! (yes, you read that right) the cutout was torn, wrinkled and really just overall priced cRaZy.
There are several booths where you can tell there are no standards, and a lot of it is junk, it's dusty, and there was zero effort for a decent display of their items. Almost like a flee market style, or like people setting up for a garage sale. Maybe you can find a treasure in there? Something for everyone, I suppose? Just be aware that there are defiantly booths in there like this, but with a building this big, Id imagine that you have to expect that.
On a side note, there are still some nice booths in there. Hoping more of those start showing up.
It is definately worth...
Read moreThis place is SUPER! It is enormous and the vendor booths are well organized and beautifully curated- which I love because that gives me inspiration for my own decorating at home. I must also mention if you love vintage 80’s, 90’s toys and vintage clothing- this is your new go-to spot. But they have a huge variety of everything you could ever want! Looking for a break on our road trip on an overcast Sunday morning and we walked around for about 2 hours and hardly made a dent in this place! They also have a little food counter with seating if you are hungry. Everything was very well lit and smelled fresh- bathrooms were very clean. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the staff- everyone was very attentive and friendly, special shout out to Evan at the front desk who didn’t make me feel weird for asking for a discount on some of my items- he was so kind and conscientious- great job Evan! We will definitely come back to this place next time we are on our way to Chicago....
Read moreOverall a decent experience but I feel like “antique mall” is kinda misleading. That was probably the intention, but it seemed like at least half of the booths were just those tacky crafts you see people making/selling on tiktok. I didn’t expect 100% antiques—more like a combo of furniture, knick-knacks, oddities, and old records and memorabilia. I knew there would be some booths for local artisans there too, which is very welcome, but most of the crafty booths seemed to belong to people trying to profit from a hobby they haven’t yet mastered. Also, SO much blahhh modern farmhouse stuff, which might trick the eye into seeing more “antiques” at first than there actually are. Seemed to be a nice environment, though, SO much cleaner and tidier than a thrift or salvage shop. I’m sure it will feel more curated over time when the less interesting booths don’t turn enough profit to stay. I live within walking distance, but I’ll probably only visit once a season until...
