Cora Lee Candies — Attraction in Northfield Township

FYI As time is fleeting this time of year, I called the store up and asked if they have the one lb box of toffee for sale. I was told that they have none- the store is waiting on the delivery of one lb boxes, which they said that they ordered three months ago .

I was told that any day the empty boxes will come, but I was also given the suggestion to purchase the toffee in other more expensive sizes and containers.

However, I really wanted the one lb box of toffee. Now I am concerned that they will not have the one lb boxes in time for the fast approaching holiday season.

It is too bad that Cora Lee relied on one vendor to provide the one lb box for toffee. I asked if I could get a call back when the one lb boxes were in but instead of say sure what is your phone numnber I was told to call the store back. It did not cross my mind, as the customer, to have to call back. But I had thought OK no one lb boxes for toffee, take people's names and phone numbers and then call the customer back when the one lb boxes come in. In addition, there was not how many one lb boxes would you like? we can make them up for you when the one lb boxes come in and then call you, what is your name and phone number please. Nothing like this was said to me.

So if you are thinking of stopping by to purchase a one lb box of toffee then I suggest that you call ahead of time so you do not waste your time and energy and have to be told that there no boxes now but they are coming soon.....so I hope that everyone who loves the one lb box of toffee will get...

Had a terrible experience sending out candy from Cora Lee. Went into the store to order and send their famous Toffee out of state. I was told I had to do the order online. When asked how long delivery would take, I was told it takes 2 to 3 days. I also asked how the candy was protected in order to be sent out of town, and was told it was packed professionally for transport. I assumed my package would be sent out on Monday since I ordered on Saturday. I tried to track my package, but no information was found for days. When I did not hear from the recipient regarding the receipt of my gift, I phoned the store and later visited the store asking for help. The saleslady was not very understanding and basically said this was my problem to solve. Never would I have imagined that this would occur at Cora Lee. After seeking help from the local Post Office, I now see that an attempt was made for delivery 1 week later, and with the up in coming holiday, the recipient is certain to receive melted Toffee which will be inedible -...

We first tried the toffee as a hand delivered gift from family and we absolutely loved it. It was great quality and all around delicious. We decided to send the candy to our family at the holiday and we have run into some issues. You are forced to pay priority, 2 day shipping through usps. Unfortunately, the package seems lost and there are no additional updates on the usps site, which is not the norm for other packages we are tracking through them. We contacted Coralee and they basically washed their hands of it and said that there’s nothing they can do. That they will file a claim if it doesn’t get there but they never gave us a timeframe to contact them again. If you are thinking of getting this as a gift, I highly suggest you pick it up yourself to hand deliver as the mode of transport they use, usps, falls short even after they charge you priority shipping on it.
