Wow. I am so impressed. This has to be the best sushi restaurant in the Chicagoland area. If it's not number 1 it's hands down a contender for it. We got 4 rolls and we're nothing short of blown away. I know the spider roll isn't something that's loved by all but I always love trying them at every sushi restaurant I go to. Putting my guilty pleasure aside (which was also perfect) the rolls were seriously perfect. The fish tasted so clean and the rice was the perfect temperature. They have plenty of fresh fish (non-spicy) options as well as spicy ones. The major factor that separate this restaurant from your typical spot: -very clean fish taste -spices and auxiliary flavors were not overbearing -the rice, the rice, the rice! -the simplicity and beautiful of the rolls -the atmosphere and service Me and my fiance sat down and when I first opened the menu I will admit I was a bit overwhelmed. There are a lot of entrees/appetizers. With that said, when you get to the sushi section it's clear, concise, and has things for every sushi lover. Also also also, don't skip the back page!! That's where I picked up the yellowtail and spring onion roll!! This was probably my favorite of the 4!! If you're ever in the area I seriously cannot stress enough how much I loved this place. It brought me back to Boston and Japan which were the 2 best sushi experiences I've had. That's saying something.

We don't get to come here for lunch often, but when we do it is always really good. They have some really good deals for lunch and the full menu is also available. The service is always good and Nobori is there serving you many days and nights. It is easy to tell he really cares about his business and wants to succeed. In the burbs it's a great place to go for lunch or dinner highly recommend!

The sushi and udon were almost adequate. The “Big Calif. Roll” tasted of rice, mainly. White wine of unspecified origin costs 10 for a 4.5 ounce serving in a tiny old school wine glass. Wholesale, they cost $ 2.00 or so... I actually spilled the wine and broke the glass. They added $ 9.00 to the bill because of the broken glass. Karma’s a B, Nobori San. We won’t be visiting you again...

Nobori Sushi is a sleek, welcoming spot that blends traditional Japanese charm with a modern, relaxed vibe. The sushi here is consistently fresh and beautifully presented — every roll feels thoughtfully crafted rather than rushed. The Nigiri and sashimi stand out in particular, with melt-in-your-mouth texture and clean, balanced flavors.

Service is polite and attentive without being overbearing, and the staff seems genuinely proud of what they serve. The menu offers a nice mix of creative rolls alongside classic favorites, and the prices feel fair for the quality you’re getting.

The ambiance is calm and intimate, perfect for either a quiet dinner or a casual night out. If anything, a few of the cooked dishes could use a touch more seasoning, but that’s a minor note in an otherwise excellent meal.

Overall, Nobori Sushi earns a solid four stars — a dependable go-to for quality sushi, great service, and a pleasant...

This used to be a good place, but it is absolutely revolting now! The owners changed recently and sushi is horrible! Not average, not bad- down right horrible. For sushi- they put carefully cut half piece of fish that you would normally get even in a skimpy place, the rolls that also should have been covered with pieces of fish around were only covered with tiny pieces and then smothered with spicy mayo or whatever else so that you can't see and miso soup had 3 extremely tiny pieces of tofu. Should I mention the taste of sushi or rolls? I can't even call that sushi. And it wasn't just me- we had 6 adults and everyone said how bad it was. Very sad- it used to be a good place. Honestly, I don't really write reviews and would think 10 times to write a bad one, but this place serves terrible food now, but it still has a good rating from what it used to be and I think people should be warned how bad the...
