Simple, quaint diner. I do not eat bread normally because of sensitivity even to organic. I chose the Duck Duck Goose liver pate and the Cipriani. I thought I died and went to heaven. The pate was smooth and silky. The bread was so fresh and just right in texture. From the first bite I could tell that I would be able to eat the bread and not suffer inflammation and bloat. Even hours later I still felt great with no bloat or blood sugar crash. The coffee was excellent no bitterness. I was told he roasts his own coffee beans! SOLD! Everything was beyond delightful. It was such a treat to enjoy such high quality pure clean food and actually feel healthier after the meal. Oh and the reason I felt fine eating the bread? Owner imports the dough from France! No toxic glyphosates, pesticides and all the other poisons we find in American food. I am telling all my friends and I will...
Read moreThis is a unique sandwich shop in that they are apparently trying to represent a few European countries. As a vegetarian, the only thing I could really have was the Caprese, which was quite good, although overloaded with pestro, which I had to scrape off. The ingredients were fresh and tasty, but there should have been more basil. As for the ambience, it's extremely sparse and ready doesn't seem finished. They don't even have a sign outside, so it's a little hard to find the first time you go. Service is quick and friendly to a point - not conversational. I hope they expand the menu a bit and do a little interior decorating. I would also love to know the history and story behind this place- seems like maybe it's Russian, since they have pelmeni? It would be...
Read moreThese were hands down the best sandwiches we have ever had. Eastern European vibes with a fun menu. The menu features a few sandwiches from a few different countries. The meat and cheese is freshly sliced at the time of ordering! The bread is fresh with a beautiful crispy crust. Forget any other fast food sub place and just come here. The atmosphere was an inviting modern space. We chose to dine in and ordered the Caprese with Prosciutto and the Tanta Carne. The sandwiches were brought to our table on wooden basket trays. Every bite was delicious down to the last. The owner was the one who made the sandwiches and he checked in on us to make sure everything was to our liking. You definitely need to try, I promise you won’t be...
