So I go in today cause as always, drive-thru packed, slow worker taking orders and can barely understand English. I was in line for almost half hour, lucky no one was behind me and backed away, go inside and waiting again for someone to take my order, a few customers were waiting for over 20+ minutes for their food, I’m standing by the register waiting for someone to take my order and nothing, so this girl comes by me and I ask her who is taking orders, she responded with “are you Jacob?” Lmao!! Do I look like a guy, doesn’t speak a word of English and she looked over to the girl taking orders in drive-thru and that idiot tells her in Spanish, “just leave her there, she can wait.” So me, I speak Spanish fluently and understand what she said, I went off on her telling her not to be speaking another language cause you never know if the people around you, understand. Like others comments, on here, it wasn’t a racial issue until they started speaking in Spanish, that makes it a racial problem cause they don’t think who understands them and to top it off, I still didn’t get taken care of. I get people need jobs but get those who want to work and actually do the job and not walk around in the back and leaving people in the front waiting to be taken care of. Acknowledge the customers, where are the managers while all this is going on. I thought the Skokie Taco Bell was bad, but at least they don’t leave you hanging and talking in other languages and leaving customers waiting. Whoever manages this Taco Bell in Glenview, do your job training people, show them customer...
Read moreSo I visited tonight at about 8:30 PM and I had what I would say is the worst restaurant experience of my life. So first off we ordered a customized order at the digital kiosk. When we got the food we also got someone else's order-strike one. Then two of our items were COMPLETELY wrong (ordered a steak quesarito and a chicken 5 layer burrito no sour cream) and instead got a chicken and bean quesarito and a normal 5 later burrito-strike 2. They then charged me for the steak on the quesarito instead of just giving it to me although it was a system/employee error-strike 3. And on top of it they charged me $1.20 plus tax for the steak when it was supposed to be $1-strike 4. Oh and on top of it they tried to give me someone else's fixed order after they messed up theirs as well-strike 5. And when I asked for a manager/district manager's phone number or card with a number and he just shrugged, laughed, and said "I dont know what to tell you man"-strike SIX. Super ridiculously unorganized and it seems they were never trained or were on drugs. I will also be contacting corporate about this experience because I ran a restaurant for 2 years and this is honestly absolutely ridiculous, even...
Read moreCome on...really? It's "Ta-ca, Ta-ca, Taco Bell". I hot out of work 2 hours late & too late to cook...Taco Bell run. It is relatively inexpensive, sloppily prepared, if you don't check for sour cream on Mexicali Pizza - BEFORE you leave, you'll be sorry when you get home. It is edible, but it is Not Mexican, not Tex-Mex...beyond what it is not...I at a loss to categorize just What It Really Is.
The staff here seems variable, 20 something fellow this evening was very alert. Pleasant and down right professional. This was 15 item order and it came to the counter in less than 10 minutes and the cashier/expediter still had this cheerful attitude a d smile going as when he took the order - hi Mark's for service with a smile.
The new decor is just as bland and predictable as the food is sloppily assembled, but sure looks low maintenance, so I hope it helps the stores bottom line...sorry that's all I have for this...
