Wild Pita Mediterranean Grill — Restaurant in Northfield Township

First off, I don't understand why their website boasts that they deliver when they don't, and it even leads the user to a website where you can create an account and pay for your orders. So I did all that, only to receive a phone call letting me know that it'll have to be a carry-out or cancel the order. I go to pick up my order and they haven't even started preparing it. I wait another 20 minutes for my food along with other angry customers. The restaurant is packed, but there's one person at the counter and 2 working in the kitchen. I was hoping the food would change my mind. The hummus was bland and pasty, tahini was bitter so it was obviously old, the salad had whole pieces of garlic that were frozen and blue in color. Overall the food was flavorless, with over-portioning of rice and small portions of meat. Wild Pita is the first middle-eastern restaurant that I will give less than 4 stars to. Got to check out this place yesterday and it was alright. I called in my order at 720pm, 10 minutes before closing, qnd picked up at 735pm. They were nice to take my order last second so I appreciate that alot. I ordered their kefta kebab wrap and I say for $6.50 plus tax, its good. Maybe not the best wrap I ever had, but it was solid. It comes with the red and white sauce you would expect and gives extra flavor to the wrap. Service was prompt and friendly. Maybe I will try their lunch specials if I'm in the area again. They appear to be similar to Pita Inns, at $6.99. Small parking lot, but it works. They follow all the covid precautions....

We found the food to be less flavorful and not as good compared to other Mediterranean places. The fatoush salad from this restaurant contained only iceberg lettuce with sumac spice, maybe a some olive oil and a few slices of cucumbers and tomatoes. This was very different from other fatoush salads that contained a lot more vegetables that were topped off with a homemade dressing. The Kefta kabob was also subpar.
