Rent-A-Center — Attraction in Norwalk

I have rented from this location for YEARS. I have paid off multiple items and given this company thousands of dollars at an astronomical mark up. So far I have paid off a computer, a bed, a sectional sofa, two PlayStation 5's and never once missed a payment. Just recently I had a baby via c-section and ended up with a serious life threatening infection leaving me hospitalized and my husband at the hospital with me off of work. We called ahead and discussed our situation with them even offering a double payment the next week to make up for it. They would not work with us at all and charged us almost $30 in late fees. They'll take the bed I'm resting on right out from under me before working with me. The PlayStation 5's we paid off didn't even come with all the parts. They were used, but we still paid double the market value as a new one. They told us they would provide the missing pieces and never did. We forgave that and moved on. Our bed we have now has a mattress too small for the frame that didn't come with the set but they didn't have the one that came with it. The mattress keeps sliding under the headboard because it's much too thin. $4000 total for something half ass. Yet they won't make it right. They do however harass you for payment even if it isn't due and spam with phone calls and junk mail trying to convince you to buy more and more and more. No grace, no forgiveness, and poor business. Once I have paid off what I have I will be taking my business elsewhere. I don't want to work with a company that does not care about...

We have been going through Norwalk rent a center forever now and have paid allot of the stuff off. And the stuff we couldn't afford and sent back! As of right now we have a few things from them which we have plans on paying off at the end of the week, and this will be the last time we ever go through them again they are rude af their workers SUCK and I'll be looking into how I can get them for harassment! Account not due until Monday and they blow your phone up on Saturday with a "friendly reminder" in my eyes a friendly reminder call is you call one time! Even if you and the store manager have talked the same day they send a worker to your house and someone who does not know how to knock he beats on your door where it makes everything shake and don't even give you time to get to your door and open it, he is super rude and really don't deserve no job working with people! He gonna knock on the wrong door one time and get laid TF out! So think before using the store in Norwalk I will be done once I have this stuff paid off and blocking their number so they...

Got a tv and sound bar from them. I opted out of the auto payment. Payment was due on Friday. I was out of town and was going to be back Monday to pay. Yes I should have called admittedly, but every time I thought to they were closed. Sunday they pulled money from my account, I assume by running the card I paid the last payment with. I took back the equipment on monday as I was upset that they had pulled money from my account without authorization. I spoke to the manager and told him what they did and I was returning the tv. In the middle of me explaining why I was upset he cut me off to ask if I was bringing the tv in. Then after he made sure the tv was operational I asked when the money I paid would be put back on my card he tells me that "we don't do refunds, but you can keep the tv for the time you paid for it". I've rented from RAC all over the country in various cities and never had an issue. Will not do that again. Aaron's will get my business...
