KFC — Restaurant in Norwalk

This was easily the nicest looking KFC I've been to. Friendly staff and food was good too.

UPDATE : its been 4 months since ive been here but what I just seen did not sit well with me. I got there to get dinner and there was a short line. No big deal, right? 15 minutes later The line had not changed, nor had anybody came to the counter or acknowledged anybodys presence in the lobby, standing in line to order. After 20 minutes i left and the lady infront of me with her daughter left right after me. Outside were the same 2 employees ( did not get their names ) still taking their break. there was one gentleman still in line. he was at the counter but didnt know if he had been waited on or not. Regardless he did not look happy. I had this as a 5 star review its a very low 3 because of this. I will give them one more shot later on, maybe but if conditions do not improve this review will get lowered again and i will call corporate to complain. this is just an unexceptable way to run a restaraunt, of any type. If there was other chicken joints in the area like KFC, i wouldnt even come back to this place.

UPDATE 2/29/20 : Decided to give these people another chance, lot to do witb i wanted fried chicken and didnt want to goto Sandusky to get it from a far superior place. Long story short, went in, people were friendly and place looked clean. That's the only good things i have to say about the place because the food i recieved was just sad. Corn was soggy like it had been out for hours and reheated in the microwave. Mashed potatoes were alright but seemed like more could have been put into the large bowls. Chicken was not even crisp in the slightest, i mean it loomed like it should have been but sitting out under heat lamps a bit too long or something I don't know .... but what i do know is that the food was garbage. That was the last time i will go there to eat as a paying customer. Called to complain they decided to make the experience better or right they should or need to replace the meal. Honestly it wont change mh opinion on the place even if it's better than the other times.

So honestly if you want my opinion on this place... go elsewhere and save your money...

My 7 year old insisted on eating at KFC after his Tae Kwon Do class. I was hesitant because the last time we were there it was REALLY DIRTY inside. However, I decided to give it another chance. The food was ok...not really warm. However, the restaurant is BEYOND DIRTY! The floors are so gross, your feet literally stick to them when you walk. The trash was overflowing and they had employees standing around doing nothing. I could overhear their conversation which wasn't really appropriate for my 7 year old to hear. I don't know who "Brian" is but apparently he thinks another employee is his b#tch. The conversation eent on and on, however i tried to ignore it and distract my son. They weren't very busy either time we were there so I'm not sure why they aren't cleaning. I used to work for Lee's Famous Recipe when I was much younger and I have to say that our management NEVER would have allowed our restaurant to look so disgusting. We were constantly out cleaning and emptying the trash. We mopped and did extra work every night so that the restaurant was ready to open the next day. Our owner would have ripped us to shreds if the place looked anything like KFC. What is really bothersome is that I can only imagine how nasty the kitchen is. I can't believe the Health Department hasn't shut that place down. It hasn't been that long since they remodeled. There is no way a place that new should...

Ive done this rating before, as well as sent corporate emails. I have seen this location on numerous visits since I consider myself a KFC expert of over 30 years. 2 weeks ago we dined in at this location and omg what a wonderful change in the Service, Food Quality, Cleanliness and overall pleasant atmosphere...all for the better. We dined in today and it appeared that it all changed back to a 2nd world country. Very dirty, ordered on the LJSilvers menu, regrettably. The fish was covered in oil, very dark and had that old oil taste. Chicken was dangling in the window off of the racks in the holding box...customers seen throughout its front glass window. We noticed the back frying area was stacked with used chicken pans, crust and crumbs all over the countertops. There was "a manager"(?) by herself trying to fill food orders and yelling out for food items not in her serving cabinet while we could see 3 employees standing and leaning for at least 6 minutes just laughing and talking. The floors were filthy with food leftovers as well as 6 tables. I am sure that there was that mad rush that went through possibly prior to our going.....but I cannot believe a store went from a 5 star rating to a 2 in a mere two weeks. Just wanted someone to know. However, we will still remain...
