This has to be one of the worst dog parks my husband and I have ever been to. And we've been to a lot. We are not local. We were taking a day trip and based on good reviews stopped by to give the dogs a break. We came here about a week ago and let me just say the place is disgusting. The grass wasn't mowed, the people were rude that were there and at least two men that were sitting in their own lawn chairs that they obviously brought were smoking cigars. It felt very awkward. It felt like we were dropping in on someone else's backyard bbq. There were picnic tables but everyone had their dogs with them on the tables making it hard to sit anywhere. No dogs playing together at all. There were also large dogs on the small dog side which is where we were. Totally not ok as our dogs were nervous and scared. There was also a random small pool filled with water that one particular dog kept jumping in and out of and then jumping up on me and my husband. Don't get me wrong we are huge dog people. But that's not cool. This place was just gross. Not maintained and clearly no one there cares about the place or the rules....

Edit #1. MLK day, 1130AM. Beware of the owners of Scout and Tank. Both black dogs, Tank is a Rottweiler that will hump a female dog incessantly with no sense of control from his owner. As for Scout's owner, this lady had the audacity to ask me if MY dog is spayed. Even thanked me for leaving because it was time for Scout to get all the attention from Tank (which she kept insisting from the beginning). It was completely rude, but not because of how my dog was treated. There was a mother with her child and their puppy. Seeing this behavior in a public place is the reason we can't have nice things.

Great place, but there’s a handful of aggressive dogs that don’t get pulled out by their arrogant owners. Besides that, people are very generous with the donated pools/tennis balls/etc. Enjoy a pic of when I first took my pup here and she met her...

Went today with my 6month pup we were on the large side because there were no small Dogs there and my pup is quite large for her age anyways, after being there for quite some time with an elderly dog that got on with my pup just fine a man enters with his two dogs and i hear him say his dog Is okay but doesn’t like puppies jumping on him. Say no more! I scooped up my dog and kid and headed towards the exit. Within seconds of hearing this man say his Dogs dont tolerate puppies I turn my head to See his two dogs brutally attacking this elderly dog! The sounds coming from This fight will forever haunt me. This man with the two dogs didn’t have a care in the world and started to hit his dogs to “punish” them”if you can’t act right we leave!” Except he didn’t leave all the while the man leaving with his elderly dog bleeding from its...

Very nice dog park with a large and small dog area. The visitors always seem friendly, both the 4 and 2 legged type. Bags on hand to pick up waste along with plenty of disposal cans. There is benches to sit on the small area with a couple picnic tables also. Large dog area has a sort of pavilion in the middle for shelter and a place to sit. Theres bowls of water with available fresh water and people usually leave tennis balls. Theres also a small track to walk that encircles the parks

Surprisingly nice dog park, despite getting muddy sometimes, however they routinely lay down wood chips to help mitigate this issue. There are 3 sections. 1. main dog park, 2. small dog park 3. A very outdated, with minimal options, child play area. Most dog owners are responsible however, like anywhere, there is the occasional incident; I’ve yet to have one but have heard stories.
