I spilled water on my computer and shortly thereafter a screen appeared that I was unable to remedy, even with a Google search.
I needed to find the best and most reasonable. I spent a couple days looking at options, which included refurbished laptops.
As the days passed and I got further and further behind, I decided to do one more search for computer repair.
This shop came up I made the enlightened decision to call. $40 for a diagnosis,yay, and if mine was not repairable, that money would apply to a new or used laptop.
Their goal is always to put existing equipment back into service. Which I totally respect 💯.
They said it would be a minimum of three days but after only 2 days I was able to pick up my repaired laptop.
It cost considerably less there any comparable used, refurbished or new options. Plus the hard-drive they put in holds twice as much as my old one.
They organized my desktop and installed free virus protection. I am super pleased!
Be forewarned, it's best to call to let them know you you're coming. They own the whole building and are often not in the repair shop. They provide a phone number for you to call to alert them to your arrival.
In this day in age of everybody and their brother claiming they can repair a computer, I say don't waste time or risk it.
