Being that I work nearby, I decided to use my lunch break to treat myself to getting my nails done. I am not impressed! The man who did my nails was very nice but did a horrible job. My nails were too wide and thick, they looked ridiculous. I was running short on time and had to return to work. Even my co-workers said I should get them fixed/complain...which I did immediately after my work day was over. I spoke to Ms. Lee and she started on me right away...BUT...stopped halfway through to work on someones feet. I was ok at first but a couple minutes turned into 15, then to 20. While waiting for her to return I listened to what other customers were saying. Many of them requested repairs to their nails that have lifted or popped off. The woman whose feet she was working on was upset because she had been there for a long time. It took almost 2 hours to fix my nails, they do look better, but only 3 days later I have two that are already lifting. I am a single mom who doesn't have this done often because of cost and I feel cheated out of my hard...
Read moreMy wife and I went in for mani/pedis and were seated relatively quickly. Her pedicure was started immediately while mine took about 15-20 to start with my feet in cold water. When the lady began she started rushing through the motions to the point that it wasn't relaxing at all. It actually kinda just teetered between uncomfortable and downright painful depending on what she was doing at any given time. My wife and I finished at about the same time despite mine starting way after hers. When I went to get the mani I was sat at a table with an extension cord stretched shin-height in front of it so I had to awkwardly lean forward for the duration of the manicure which managed to be more painful than the pedi. I've had manicures before and I've never had my cuticles removed in such a rough manor. Needless to say, I won't be going back but apparently the dude that did my wife's nails was pleasant so I'll give them one extra...
Read moreIf I could give 0 stars; then I would. The only thing this owner cares about is money, especially from black customers. She could care less about giving me good service. She kept trying to get me to get acrylic on my nails when I repeatedly stated that I wanted them off and a regular manicure. I also needed a toe nail off and she told me next time as if it was optional. She removed my overlay acrylic nails and she was very aggressive when she took them off. However, when a white woman walked in after me; she was very nice and cordial. She clearly treats white customers differently as far as customer service goes when they come into her shop. Black people do your own nails or get your license to open your own shops and stop giving these people our hard earned money. We are just $$$ to them. They don’t...
