I ordered 3 pumpkins for a total cost of $182.62 and received a damaged box full of glass shards!! Granted the box has servers damage in shipment but whenever I opened it the pumpkins were packed with one thin piece of small bubble wrap and placed in a thin cardboard box. The thin boxes were there places in another THIN cardboard box with only a small piece of crumpled brown paper in the corner. The box was NOT label fragile. I have sent emails and pictures to the company and have yet to hear from them. I would advise other purchasers that they may receive exactly what I did - a box of glass shards!! A company that deals with glass objects should surely know that glass needs lots of cushioning in shipment - not just a small piece of bubble wrap and a thin cardboard box. These were supposed to be gifts for friends. All I want now is a refund because I have no confidence in this company being able to package and ship glass!! Still waiting to hear from the company as to whether they will refund my money.

My daughter and I went to a class on May 24th. It was a late Mother's Day celebration for us. We really enjoyed the class and found the staff to be very friendly. However, we decided to pay to have the items we made shipped to us and we still have not received them. I emailed to inquire about the status of when they would be shipped and no one answered (its been a week), I tried to call and all you get is a message that their mailbox is full, I tried to use the chat, and of course, they are not online. There is absolutely no way to talk to a person (unless, of course, you drive out to their shop, which I'm considering doing though I shouldn't have to). Luke Adams Glass only cares about getting you in the door and spending your money on the class. The total disregard for the customer after that is unbelievable. I found someone else posted a similar experience on their own page so it appears that it is not isolated. It's a shame because I was thinking of going for the 3 hour class I enjoyed it so much. But the whole point of doing this is to get the item I made!!

And despite their response below almost a week ago. It still hasn't shipped out. All they did was make a label. That doesn't count as shipping. So yeah... almost a month and still no item.

UPDATE: Items were received a month after the class. I will reiterate that the class experience itself was great, the pieces are beautiful, but this business falls short in completing the customer experience. They tell you that these pieces are ready one week after the class, but they don't ship it out for weeks. Perhaps if they had been transparent about that it would have saved a lot of heartache...

I am sure his classes are 5 stars. I live in Florida and was ecstatic when I found his glass pumpkins. My first order was 3 pumpkins waited over a week and nothing was sent. You could track the order and there was no movement. I contacted their customer service and was advised that the daily pumpkin I purchased was broken. Why they didn't ship the other 2 pumpkins I do not know. But after I emailed them the other 2 pumpkins were shipped. I am not upset that the pumpkin was broken I was upset t hat I had to contact them to get my order sent for the other 2 pumpkins. I placed another order for 2 pumpkins which arrived last Saturday 1 pumpkin was fine the other pumpkin was chipped. I emailed customer service and they requested I email them photos which I did. The pumpkin that was damaged was a dark purple and it is very difficult to see the damage. But you could see the damage in the photo. In fact I believe the damage occurred before they shipped the pumpkin. I now have to send the pumpkin back to them. You can be the best glass blower on the planet BUT if you cannot give good customer service and a good product what good is it. I would be ordering pumpkins every week but not from this company. Mr. Adams your name is attached to this product. Two orders and both had problems. Since I love pumpkins and was addicted to looking at his daily pumpkins which are beautiful there has to be another company out there to provide a good product with good...

Used a Groupon for a discount with a co-worker who wanted to try glassblowing. Found a super awesome hobby! Instructor was informative, supported our own creativity, and guaranteed a good outcome for the first try at this. I appreciated that as I'd rather have some parts "done" mostly for me so I can have a product that is halfway decent for a first attempt. I also got to experience the potential for talent and artistry and what goes into glassblowing as an art, which created not only increased my appreciation for it, but also inspired me to want to learn more. The instructor talked about production days, too, in the business aspect of things, which was extremely interesting! We will definitely go back for longer lessons and I will encourage friends and family to check out this location for glassblowing. Being able to just test it out without a huge weeks long course investment of time and money was actually a great way to allow people to see if this is for them or not.

In case you're traveling from afar to go to Luke's, know you need to pay for shipping because projects need to cool in coolong ovens before they can go home. If you live nearby, you just show up about 36 hrs later to pick up....
