Really bad form here. I think the crux of the issue is that my work wasn’t significant enough to pay attention to in order to do a sufficient job. ( $10 job.)I got a patch sewn on my martial arts kimono. Apparently a seamstress of significant experience cannot cut a black patch without leaving a white border. This is almost akin to a child not being able to color within the lines. However a child isn’t a paid professional. Furthermore, adding insult to injury, the seamstress asked if the patch should be aligned with the collar. I said no and showed her that the alignment should be up and down so you could read the name of the school as you would anything else. She didn’t listen, therefore the patch is aligned at a 45° angle. In conclusion, this subpar tomfoolery took a week. I have had similar martial arts patches sewn on my kimono previously without incident. However that seamstress sold her business....
