So my family took me here for a birthday meal and I love Mediterranean food.
TLDR: Their bread is extremely well made, food was tasty, coffee was good, and the service was decent, but there are things that need to improve.
Food: When ordering from this place, be warned that there are ingredients included that are not discussed in the actual description on the menu (tip to the owners, please include a more detailed list of what’s included in the meals so people know what they’re ordering). For instance, my girlfriend has an unfortunate allergy to pickles, and she ordered a chicken wrap that did NOT let anyone know it had pickles inside the wrap. She could’ve done her due diligence by asking, but that’s the point of having a description on your dishes. I ordered the garlic almond rice gallayah, and despite my Mediterranean ignorance, there was no description of the peppers, tomatoes, and other ingredients inside the main description of the dish. You would have to do homework when ordering food from here and that’s not okay, the owners cannot assume everyone knows what gallayah is or what’s inside every dish.
Service: I believe the owners employ their kids and our waiter had an AirPod in whilst taking our order (which doesn’t bother me necessarily, but there is a time and place to be wearing earbuds). Also, he asked us what we would like to drink and once my mom gave her order, he turned his back and left us all staring at eachother waiting to order drinks. Needless to say, we just drank water. The hostess was nice, but did not help around the kitchen despite it being slow. Her assumed brother did all of the work while she sat on her phone. Again, these may be considered nitpicking, but it’s a professional establishment and there’s always stuff to do in a restaurant.
In summary: please add more details on what’s inside the dishes so people don’t waste food, and please coach the waiter and hostess on proper dining etiquette. All in all, I would 100% go here again as the food was delicious, but the smaller things add up over time and will cause people not to come back. Despite the food being delicious, the lack of accuracy on the descriptions bring the rating down to 2 stars. The improper etiquette from the waiter and hostess bring the rating to 2 stars as well. The beautiful CNC doors and decorations make it feel 1-of-1, which is 4 stars. Overall 3 stars at the moment. I will update when I revisit in...
Read moreI ordered the chicken Shawarma skewers. First of all the serving was like for a child. I understand I got half fries and half rice but literally the serving was like for a toddler. The chicken was undercooked. I lost my appetite immediately. I had to ask for our drinks three times and the server who looks like a young boy forced to work there by his family kept telling me “Oh yeah she’s working on them now”. Working on what?! They were fountain drinks, just pour them! Had to also ask for garlic sauce, 3 to 4 times which they kept giving also tiny little servings of. The server Fajr if that’s the girl was so rude and condescending. We had to ask her to repeat the soups and salad and when we would, she would pause, chuckle to herself and then repeat it as if we were stupid. When I asked if they were going to give us bread and garlic, she said yeah that’s supposed to come out anyways. Then it proceeded to take another 20 minutes to even bring that out before taking our order. My french fries were also freezing. We asked for chicken nuggets and then they brought out tenders and then when we asked for the status on the nuggets, the waiter said yes the tenders are being cooked now. Definitely would never come...
Read moreWe had an absolutely fantastic experience at Levantine Grill! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, but what truly made our visit memorable was our incredible server, Malik. He was so sweet, friendly, and attentive—he went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing time.
The food was absolutely delicious! We started with their warm delicious bread and garlic, lamb vegetable soup, shawarma-loaded fries which were packed with flavor and the perfect way to kick off the meal. The shish tawook was perfectly cooked, tender, and seasoned to perfection. And we can’t say enough about their Adani tea—rich, aromatic, and the perfect way to wrap up our meal.
The entire experience was outstanding, and we can’t wait to come back soon. Highly recommend Levantine Grill for anyone looking for great food and exceptional service! Thank you, Malik, for making our...
