Can you please edit for spelling and grammar pull other common complaints about wet and wild hawaii up? If you buy a pass to go here, please note that the marketing is deceiving on what you actually get. Read the fine print and ask clarifying questions. I was given the impression last year that our passes expired the same month as they were purchased. Now they told me they are "season" passes and they expire at the end of the calendar year regardless of the month you purchase them. I'm extremely unhappy with their marketing and promotion it's extremely deciving.

Here's a revised version with improved spelling, grammar, and clarity:
If you buy a pass to Wet'n'Wild Hawaii, be aware that the marketing can be misleading. Make sure to read the fine print and ask clarifying questions. Last year, I was under the impression that our passes would expire in the same month they were purchased. However, I recently learned that they are actually "season" passes, meaning they expire at the end of the calendar year, regardless of when you buy them. I'm extremely unhappy with their marketing and promotions—they are very deceptive.
Would you like me to include other common complaints about the park as well?

Beyond the pass confusion, there are several other common issues visitors experience:
Long Wait Times: Many rides have long lines, especially on weekends, and some guests have reported waiting over an hour for a single slide.
High Prices: Food, drinks, and locker rentals are very expensive, and outside food is not allowed.
Limited Ride Availability: Some attractions are often closed for maintenance without prior notice, making the visit feel less worthwhile.
Cleanliness Concerns: Guests have reported that some areas of the park, including restrooms, could be better maintained.
Rude or Unhelpful Staff: Some visitors feel that customer service is lacking and that staff can be unhelpful when issues arise.
While the park can be fun, I would recommend managing your expectations and doing your research before purchasing a...
Read moreI’m not a connoisseur of water parks but I have been to several in my life time. I’d like to compare them to Wet n Wild Hawaii.
First off, I’m really not loving the disorganization and confusion with the lines. No signage, or staff helping direct the flow of single, double and triple tubes all being jam packed into a staircase the size of a normal sidewalk that is also feeding 7 water slides.... this is by far the most inefficient way I’ve ever seen line organization and execution be implemented.
Before I get into the things I would consider Misses and Maintenance items, I want to say a few things done right.
They have one of the most amazing staff members working in the popcorn shack by the restrooms. It was my pleasure to have had the privilege to interact with him. His energy and positive attitude was radiating throughout his work environment and customers, to include Auntie and myself. What an amazing asset you have sitting right there!!
The rides that were working were fun. Simply put. We raced down tunnels, we rode tubes and rafts!! We were in the wave pool after the movie was done playing and caught some sweet swells!! We had a great day overall and will be returning no question.
THE MISSES :
Line cutting is out of control. The group in front of us grew from 4 to 8. The group directly behind us grew from 3 to 7 by the front of the line and from what we could see it was happening everywhere and in every line. Friends walking up to other friends dripping water from the other ride and just cut everyone.
Kapolei Kooler (Lazy River) was closed. Shaka was closed. - permanently I hear 🤷 Big Kahuna - was closed for the first bit, then opened up mid day. Chief’s Luau - closed O-Hana Highway - 1 1/2 hour wait (running 2 tubes back to back with 5 minutes of downtime between rafts being carried up via automated ramp max 3 people per raft) grueling slow operation.
Other than the above mentioned items which I would consider moderate level management problems. (P.S. the underside of the Tornado is rusting through the paint and the paints peeling fairly bad exposing more metal to the elements, resulting in more rust. Maintenance should address) I would say it’s worth the $28 per person through Costco no...
Read moreFirst visit to Wet 'n' Wild. We bought tickets in advance so we didn't have to wait in line to get in.
We followed the rules regarding bringing in outside food and drinks other than water, and I think this is the worst park rule I've ever encountered in my 38 years on this planet leave and eat in your car and then come back in, if they let you.
My stepson is diabetic, and we waited in line first to order and pay for food for 45 minutes to an hour, and then we had to get in a second food line to present our receipt and actually get our food, two fountain drinks and a slice of pizza, which took another 45 minutes to an hour. If I knew this would was what to expect I would have skipped this. They don't tell you because you won't order their food if you knew how long you had to wait. If my stepsons blood sugar would have dipped during that time waiting, I would have gone full Karen. This place is a lawsuit waiting to happen. Dole whip sold out by 11:30AM. They had dip n dots on their menu and treated us like we had five heads when we ordered this item printed on their huge menu signs at the concessions area. There was a good truck where my husband and I order food with a much shorter wait time.
We waited an hour for the ohana highway slide, in peak sun. No shade, and our feet were literally burning from how hot the pavement was. I'd recommend just wearing water shoes the whole time if you decide to brave this poorly managed park. The had one raft they were using which made the wait painfully long. Check to see how many rafts seem to be in circulation on the conveyor belt and skip this ride if you see only one raft. The other slides have shorter wait times.
The remainder of the rides were fun, and this place could be great. It's a shame how few rafts are in circulation on busy days. Even with waiting for guests to safely clear the slides, the rafts were always in short supply which meant longer waits.
The staff is miserable. Every person we encountered looked like this day might be their last, as if they were ready to quit. Must be terrible working conditions for them.
All of this to say, it's an absolute shame how this park is operated. Hire an operations director and get...
