Just dined in table for 6 reservation food was above average and a large plate could easily satisfy two people. The kitchen was the saving grace of this restaurant. The waitress was ok but didn’t help bus table or refill beverages. The busser serviced our table more than the waitress. Well rather two women on our table. The youngest sat in front of me and we both ordered the same drink as the other woman, iced tea, mine was empty she had very little left and our glasses were touching. He offered her a refill skipped me and immediately offered the other woman a refill of her iced tea before making his way to the kitchen to which I needed to intercept him in order to get my refill. He later came to put our orders in takeouts. He continued to service the entire table talking to the two women typically others only if they talk to him first. One of the women asked him to put my things in a takeout because I was getting passed up for service yet again. I was one the first people to finish and sat in the seat closest to the kitchen there is no excuse here. He proceeds to assist everyone else on the table and another table before we again need to ask him to box my things. After dessert he comes by to offer water and all but one water is low he goes up to the youngest on the table offers her a water refill then leaves. She did not have the least amount of water remaining on the table and most of our table was below half and should have received a refill. Word of advice instill better service standards to your front of...
Read moreThis restaurant was out of a lot of things on the menu. We were looking forward to having table side Caesar salad but they didn’t offer that. Food was not good as Mililani restaurant. We each left more than half our dinners on our plates. Forget the desserts if you want a variety cause they were out of 4 of them. Waitress was rude and mean to Glenn, who was bringing us water, bread ,butter and clearing our table. Glenn Hiro was snapped at by the waitress in front of people and he looked embarrassed. Our daughter ordered fettuccini Alfredo no chicken but offered broccoli. They brought it to the table with chicken and the waitress came back and said she did instead of politely taking it back.Waitress couldn’t give recommendations because she didn’t know how it tasted. Restaurants should let wait staff try a little bit of the menu items so they can give their opinion. Waitress was just mean and rude and made my adult kids feel uncomfortable. Not recommend. Mililani Assaggio’s is way better. Go there. The only one that was excellent was Glenn Hiro. Go...
Read moreTook the whole family of 6 out for my birthday dinner. We used to love Assaggio Mililani but thought we would stay closer to home. Wish we didn’t. The atmosphere is fine, the place is nice and clean and the staff were all professional and nice and friendly. The food was all very bland and my chicken parm had to of come straight out of the Sysco box. It was very weirdly textured chicken, almost like it was microwaved or something. Whatever it was it was obvious it was not prepared fresh. There was a weird chunk of something burnt beyond recognition mixed in and it was not pleasant when I bit into it. I told the waitress it soured me on the rest of the meal after biting into it. A very large gentleman then came to our table and asked whose meal it was from. He then demonstrated how it crumbled in his fingers. He said it was a piece of bacon? The waitress said it was burnt cheese. I don’t even know who the large guy was since he didn’t introduce himself. They did take it off of the bill though. I don’t think we will...
