Windward City Shopping Center — Attraction in Oʻahu

I didn't see a listing for Kin Sun Chinese take out at Windward Shopping Center, so this review will have to suffice. I don't live in Hawaii anymore, but have frequented this take out buffet a couple of times over the years and the staff is always friendly and value for the money, this place can't be beat. During my most recent visit, I had the Jai (sometimes called Buddha's Delight) which is completely vegetarian. It has a mix of veggies and glass noodles and garlic eggplant. I last came here in 1980, when I lived in Kaneohe. Now in 2023 (43 years later!), the layout is still basically the same. The Jerry Lewis Twin Theatres may be long gone (replaced by 24 Hour Fitness), but Foodland, Baskin-Robins and McDonald's are still here at their same locations all these decades later. // The draw here is convenient shopping without having to travel to the other side of the island. I did a few things over in Windward City. Shopping center is the first place I tried Poke. Inside the Store there, I walked by the deli counter. I looked at the many different types of Poke they had. Guy working the counter asked if I wanted some, stated I was just looking & never had any. Gave me a try. Realized that if you like sushi, you'd love poke.
