Zablan Beach — Attraction in Oʻahu

The beach had some great views surrounding it. The water was clear . We had gotten there in the mid afternoon, so waves were a little heavier but not too crazy for the little ones. We did a few family photos with the backdrop, being so pretty. We wanted to make it to zablan earlier in the day, and it didn't work out for us . We were hoping to find these caves ( not sure what to call them) that we see in other post and reviews. We, unfortunately, weren't sure where to look and ran out of time . But still a beautiful beach...

Crazy huge waves especially the shore break wave. This is intense. The undercurrent is very strong so this beaches water is very fun. It will throw you on to the beach, then suck u out. Then another wave comes and immediately pushes you back on shore. Craziest thing I’ve ever done. Just never panic or fight the current. Just let it do Irs think and you’ll feel like a flea in a toilet bowl lol. No but seriously be a strong swimmer and if not go when lifeguard is on duty. Stay safe. Hawaii has...

This beach is off the beaten path from any of the other beaches on the island. Definitely less ppl than Waikiki or North shore. If you arrive before 11 you should have no problem parking in the small parking lot. Gives you time to check out Mermaid caves if you're there during low tide. Make sure you go during low tide. Kids were jumping off the jagged rocks into the ocean which is quite dangerous. I wouldn't suggest you do any jumping because there are sharp rocks...
