This is my favorite Starbucks and I really should’ve left a review ages ago, but a recent incident prompted me to write it now.
I ordered my coffee and food and stepped aside for the woman behind me, who ordered an oatmeal. The woman grabbed her freshly made oatmeal, opened it up, and immediately sent it back saying it was too watery. The sweet, patient Starbucks barista in the window tried her very best to kindly explain the basic concept of oatmeal to this woman (oatmeal needs a few minutes to steep so the oats can absorb the hot water, please wait 3 minutes), but the woman insisted she was wrong and demanded new oatmeal. The employee obliged and brought new freshly made oatmeal. She instructed the woman again to please wait 3 minutes so the oatmeal can steep and cook, and absorb the hot water. The woman immediately opened the oatmeal, stirred it, waited 10 second and then stomped to the window demanding a refund because the oatmeal is too watery. Bless this sweet barista that stayed kind and patient the entire time, because I was trying to hard not to laugh while I was waiting for my food.
Another reason why I love this Starbucks is because my order is always perfect, no other Starbucks can get it quite as right as this one, no matter what I order. There’s also a kind gentleman who got my son hooked on the little applesauce pouches, and he remembers us when we come and hands my son his little pouch and greets him enthusiastically every time. This Starbucks has golden employees, I’ll go out of my way to go to this Starbucks because they really...
Read moreThis morning was the second time I went to your stores drive through and I was told to “loop around” because my drink wasn’t ready yet. This is very upsetting because:
My drinks were done in less than two minutes after being told to loop around. So if I got back in line (which was at least 8 cars long) I would have gotten completely watered down coffee. I know it was less than two minutes because the second I parked and walked to the window they handed my drinks which is absolutely ridiculous.
Now if this was done to EVERY customer I may be a little less upset but as I am walking to the window and then proceed to wait for your district managers contact information and reach them for this asinine policy for almost 5 minutes they let another customer wait there for their coffee…
As a person who previously worked in the retail and food industry, I find this policy of yours very ill thought through and it will eventually lose you customers.
If you don’t want people to stay in the line for their coffee, do what other franchises do and park them. Then have one of your workers be a runner. Or SOMETHING besides this.
People shouldn’t have to pay $8-20+ and then receive subpar watered down coffee from having to “loop...
Read moreI would give 0 stars if I could, this location made it very clear they do not like tourists even though we are a huge reason they are operating. They took locals orders first I know they were locals because they were on name to name basis and even though many of us placed online orders, the local orders that were just taken were finished first. They also wouldn’t let me give them my name to check on the status of my order but they let the locals who had mobile orders check. I am very disappointed in this experience I hope it does not continue for future tourists because...
