Habitat for humanity ReStore — Attraction in Oak Ridge

I don’t know what’s going on & why no one is saying something in management but we just went for the last & final time. The prices are RIDICULOUS! Someone needs to explain to the older lady who’s pricing that this is in fact a thrift store to help those in need! She has $9.99 on used tattered beanie babies(same price online for new ones) $30 for wreaths that have a few flowers($39 at Hobby Lobby FILLED with flowers at 50% off) I could go on and on! While we were there for 30 minutes looking 12 different people said out loud “this place is nuts” and walked out!! We eventually did the same! We just don’t understand how this is even being allowed or possible! All the items are donated!! Why increase the charge for a basket from the 1980’s to $20? When we can go to Walmart and get a brand new basket for $10!! What’s even more sad? You’re going to loose donations once word gets out in...

I love shopping in this store but as long as the older dark headed lady works there I will not return! She is very rude and just hateful! She basically accused my niece of taking the price sticker off an item and my niece had ask another worker there what the price was because there was not a sticker! And because the worker had told her the wrong price that lady was hateful to her as well. My SIL bought a china cabinet and was to come pick it up within 2 days well it rained cats and dogs for the next 3 days and they call her and tell her while it still pouring rain that if she didn’t come pick it up she would lose her money!
