Mary C O'Keefe Cultural Arts Center — Attraction in Ocean Springs

My first experience with the spooky Halloween event. Had a great time but was sad to see they closed the spook house so early. It was a nice touch of them to give out free candy for the kids and a bounce house. The children had a great time with all the blow up characters walking around. Would have been nice if it would have been food tent set up instead of a pokey slow food truck. Looking forward to it next year

05-31-2023 stopped in to visit my library, which was temporarily how's that the Mary C. Beautiful artwork throughout the building, which was on display.

12-15-2023 Enjoyed another Big Band Christmas concert in the theater.

2-16-2024. Attended the play, southern fried funerals in the theater. Great seating. During intermission the art galleries were open to view. Really...

The Mary C has suppressed my Light Etching art works for years. They will tell me -Even though your art is interesting, it's not what we're looking for at this time. What they're looking for is impressionist, expressionist, and abstract. Like people are tired of looking at nothings over one hundred years now. These all will end up in the attic. The realists will stand out and benefit in the end. No artist in Ocean Springs can buy the gold and diamonds I can. For my light etchings have sold since the early 1980's and I have sold hundreds of light etchings...

I would highly recommend the Mary C! We worked with Alexis at the Mary C along with one of her chefs (Demetrio AKA "Chef D") to set up a cooking team building event for our leadership team from a business in the area. They did a fantastic job of creating an event that met our vision and was extremely fun for our employees. Feedback across the board was extremely positive from our employees. Plus - the food that the chefs prepared for us to eat throughout the cooking competition was delicious!! I would highly recommend...
