As I said in previous reviews I'm OCD and autistic, so I'm going to see things norms don't.
If not for the waivers and lack of covid safety, I'd be happy to bring my kid back there.
I have no problems with how the staff handled themselves. The area was pre covid clean. They had covid warning signs. Toilets still manual which as a new place since Covid I think should be no touch flushing.
I saw one of the staff smack a guy, but I think they were friends, because the guy then ran across the place (running being banned).
For the most part everyone behaved.
They had climbing walls, climbing wall block pits, ball pits, trampolines, slide strings, dodgeball, basketball in 3 different forms.
They have 4 body massage chairs, which got them three stars from me.
The warning signs for each section was visible, addressing most questions. Just observing I saw 3 different unruly scenarios (walking a certain way that didn't violate a rule but looked unsafe) but I wasn't ready to start hassling the managers.
The pizza was pretty good for being knock off heat in the home pizzas.
Several times I saw kids violating the rules...within seconds, the bouncers were on the move to stop them.
Things I'm not thrilled with the place which were more about management policy than the quality.
The only people that obeyed the social distancing were people not in groups. Social distancing is supposed to be for everyone. And noone in the place but me had a mask on.
They use pitchers...come on dude's its still covid.
Covid is still here, there are ZERO hand sanitizers around.
OK, now we come down to my main beef.
Side note: in 2018 the US Tax Code was changed so that whomever pays alimony has to pay the taxes on that alimony. No man should get married in the US as a result, you're literally an reckless uneducated risk taker if you do.
The waivers to participate include indemnifying the company against negligence claims. If they do something stupid and you get hurt, you can't sue them. Also any litigation of any kind, is limited to arbitration. Except to avoid looking bad in front of your kid or a judge there isn't an excuse on Earth to let your kid play at one of these places.
I dived into the block pit to put my 14 year old up onto the jousting lance stand. I couldn't get out. When I tried to get out, over the 5 minutes it took me to get out, all I could smell was sweat that was absorbed by the sponges.
The snack bar's price screen was not functioning so I have no idea what the food available was.
I would suggest putting the cameras display feeds in the front so that parents and kids can find each other.
Some of the other organizations of this type make it really hard to kidnap a kid with checks and balances before you leave. I saw none of these here.
Lastly I was underwhelmed by the Arcade. Chucky Cheese they were not.
So when covid is defeated...yeah this place is worth the time. Right now, it should be shut down like all super...
Read moreGreat place for kids playing jumping all around and very active and happening place. They have huge place situated near Costco, in Neptune.
They have multiple equipments and places to play with sponges and cushions all around to avoid all kind of injuries.
You can buy day passes as well monthly passes to enjoy your visit at sky zone. The monthly pass holders can spend unlimited time during the weekdays and 2 hours on weekends. There are separate que for the monthly pass holders and elite members.
Once you enter inside and after registering and checkins they provide you wrist bands and special non slippery socks. You have to wear those socks while you are enjoying your visit at sky zone at the venue.
They have multiple equipments and designated areas for the different kind of activities. You can simple jump of spongy circuit to warm up. They you can do wall climbing, practice basket balls, climb on the sloppy surface, cross the multiple hurdles. The most difficult one I think is the after crossing multiple hurdles like walking on narrow bars, you can jump on three BARS which are placed at different distances for that you need lots of patience and stamina. My son tried several time but he couldn’t pass through the third bar.
There are refreshment centers where you can buy soda, freezee and icy, snacks etc.
They have also kept 4 massage chairs which parents can enjoy which their kids are enjoying the sky zone games.
You can also reserve the venue for party and your private events as well.
Overall it is a good place for your kids and family members including young adults.
Just one thing you need to take care that some time when there are events and party, the regular guests and pass holders have to wait, which can be irritating.
Also beware whiling signing membership, when you take membership, they automatically enroll you for recurring renewal charges. I signed up for 1 month in April 2023 but my credit card has been charged for May and June. I tried sending mail and calling to cancel and refund but still it hasn’t happened yet.
Today I met Mr David, he agreed to cancel the membership and refund but later informed me that due to some technical issues he is unable to refund and suggested me to dispute charges through credit card and get refund.
I appreciate David for his efforts to help but request management to be more transparent with customer...
Read moreSkyzone has been open for about 2 weeks now so I understand it's a new business working out kinks. That said, yesterday was my now 9 year old's surprise birthday party and I thought I'd give my insight. The price was $269 for a party of 10 jumpers to bounce around for 1 hour and then 30 mins in the party room with pizza, choice of 2 fountain drinks. Overall I'd say it's a pretty good value, but the experience is rushed and in need of a fine tuning. After registration, a teen employee will try to explain the do's and don'ts but everything is drown out by the noise and hysteria. Make sure to suggest for them to speak up because the kids won't pay attention. The first event they brought my 9yr old's party to was a game of dodgeball mixed in with other kids. This is a big mistake and I brought it up with the owner of the establishment - she was kind enough to offer two 30 min passes after hearing me out. What started out as fun quickly turned into drama for the next 45 mins after my boy got hit in the face 2 mins in and refused to participate further. My suggestion was (and for the younger kids I would STRONGLY SUGGEST) considering not letting them throw your kids into a competition right off the bat, but make sure they go into the free jump area to get acquainted and feel out the new territory without getting pummeled by the older aggressive types winging projectiles. After dodgeball, there was no organization, it's free roam and alot of waiting in lines. All jumpers are to wear stickers on their chest with their printed out jump times but the teen employees don't pay attention and boot out the expired jumpers thus leading to more wait times. The pizza was about what you'd expect, better than your average ChuckyCheese pie (one young lady deemed it SpaghettiOs pie) and the party hosts were attentive but obviously rushing you out the door. It's simply not enough party room time. All things considered the facility is impressive and looks like a cash cow. We will definitely be back when the initial buzz has cooled down and the people rubbing in the crowded foyer...
