Had the most belittling experience here. Went here Feb 7, 2023 just to pick up 2 quick things. Went and paid for my items in self checkout and realized one of my items were eligible for EBT so I went back and got another (right by the register) for some reason this item needed my I.D when the first one didn’t. I didn’t bring it inside because it was just a quick in and out trip. One register wasn’t working so I went to another she then explained that it would keep doing the same because she needed to see my I.D so I just put it back and decided to come back with my I.D as I’m leaving with the items I already bought she yells super loud “WELL DID YOU PAY FOR THOSE?” when she watched me pay for the item. So I bring her my receipt because it was no reason to lie. She then loudly repeats “WELL THIS SAYS EBT” to the extent it was just embarrassing. I kept explaining to her if you check online the item even says it’s EBT eligible but she repeated to belittle me about it being EBT saying the items didn’t match the receipt. As she’s steady looking at my receipt she finally says “Well this item is on the receipt but this one isn’t so” asking me did I have another receipt. I explained no, I simply paid for it ran and got another and came back. She then say “yes I seen when you did that” SO WHY’D ASK IF I PAID FOR MY ITEMS IN THE FIRST PLACE IF YOU SEEN ME PAY?! I asked her if it was any way she can just refund it because I wasn’t doubling up the charge. She looked at me crazy and said “I don’t know” she examined my receipt for 3 more minutes and then said “Well I guess you can just go”. I think I was just so much in shock that she accused me of stealing, belittled me and tried to embarrass me in front of everyone that I didn’t really pay attention to the receipt myself. (Thought it was a computer glitch or something) Behold when I get home, settle down and actually look .. the exact 2 items I bought were the exact 2 items on the receipt. She purposely embarrassed me and belittled me in front of everyone for her own satisfaction. If you’re ever here at night for a quick run in, dress up in heels or a suit and look your very best because you will be discriminated against and loudly questioned and belittled for using a EBT card in a very trying time for everyone or just avoid the Woman with the red and black checkered sweater that works...
Read moreI have too many issues with this store! Many employees really should not be employed there! Terrible attitudes! Terrible customer service they act as if helping a customer is too much! I’m not sure the training on dealing with the public and human relations are displayed but they are not passing the assignment! As a veteran I feel like when people act as if it is too much to do their jobs they should be unemployed! I have shopped many of times here and have seen employees just having casual conversations and not working! They do not walk you to the merchandise just say it’s over there! Work ethics are terrible! More places should look into who wants to really work and not just who wants to collect a check! Today two young females looked back and laughed and ran off today instead of helping me! I had another young man the other day not want to be bothered and tell me to call a number! Poor people skills! I mean Target has been known to discriminate in general in the hiring process so those that seem to meet their criteria have lousy job skills they can pass a background but not pass in a specific detail of their responsibilities of dealing with the public and helping! I mean to be honest it is us consumers that pitch into their paychecks! Too busy being cute and dating then to be working I can keep going on but why! Maybe work ethics will be better when people are no longer needed and everything is ran by techs bc they already have so many...
Read moreI have to admit...as much as I love the prices at Walmart, I would much rather shop at Target! The store is clean, well laid out, and the checkout is always quick and easy. I would have given it 5 stars, but every time I go there for men’s clothes, e.g. briefs, guinea tees, sweatpants, the selection is either out of stock, or has a minimal selection. That does not, in any way dissuade me from all the other departments. The school supplies and stationary are great. The key standout though, has always been the home goods. Whether appliances, bedding, or furniture, the choices are unique, and affordable. The women in my family love the makeup, and hair products. They also have a great pharmacy section with a large selection of every type of item, which can easily be found at other stores, but not as good as the wide selection and low prices as Target. The store is very well lit, has wide aisles, and is never ridiculously crowded. Walmart is just down the street, but the friendly associates, different clientele, and wide range of products, all in a practical layout, make this my...
